Oh Nick what a fabulous tour. It was like going thru a museum. So many beautiful things to see. That terracotta fireplace was amazing and the paintings were just so well done. I pictured some poor guy laying on his back on a scaffold doing them. The furniture on its own was just gorgeous too. I bet if someone had a lot of money to sink into that place it would be well well worth it. Like you said a school or a boutique hotel would be perfect. Thanks so much, again for showing us these secret places in Italy. Hopefully one day a place will be ours. Xo

“Broadsword calling Danny Boy”… I drifted off into another time with your historical reference from WW2 and the house being occupied by the Germans. I half expected Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood to appear! You could easily picture that scenario taking place there. Outstanding property set on grounds that are just screaming to be returned to their past glory.
I am exhausted after this video with all of the potential bombarding me from every room. I can picture someone on the kitchen stoop peeling potatoes for a dinner that I hope I would be invited to. Sipping Vin Santo in the salon, in the garden, everywhere! You definitely bring out the buried imagination in all of us with these videos. You are in so many ways a therapist to us all . And…… it’s 2 settembre and you are on the cusp of 100k subscribers. I told you so. I wish I was there to celebrate with you when you reach this goal. We all will be there in spirit.
Best to you Nick and thank you for a whopper of a video, knockers and all.

Fabulous - truly outstanding! the frescos are magnificent, the spaces feel cinematic, surely it could work for location shooting! The blend of styles through the ages lend it self to multiple scenes / sets - The whole building feels like a collection of increadible timestamps - 07:21 - It's quirkily named a "treadle" as opposed to "pedal"

Absolutely amazing and beautiful beyond words. You of course are fully present and immersed in every detail. Why would you not be brimming with enthusiasm, and so appreciative of the era? No one else could produce these videos Nick. Karl Lagerfeld suits would be rather out of place -only shorts and tee shirts please! The bedroom furniture is breathtaking,, wonderful wood. I was born in the era of wardrobes which had glass fronted drawers, "tallboys" and brass fittings. I do hope fervently the purchaser would love it all and restore everything that is humanly possible (and keep the spider, it was there before them). Thank you so much Nick😊

Fantastic rummage! So much potential for someone with a serious fortune and great ideas! I loved seeing the wine cantina with everything intact, the floors and belle epoque frescoes, the beautiful garden gone a bit off-piste, and all the old original interiors and outbuildings. If I were that affluent, I'd however be a bit apprehensive to buy from a family with this (quite obvious) past loyalties. Especially as these tendencies are often very much alive and kicking in families with the history. Who and what's onnthe ultimate receiving end is important to me.
It's of no consequence to the building itself though, as I see it. In fact if it was turned into a place for intellectual learning or the free arts it would be all the better! Anything in an opposing direction. This being said, in most Italian bourgeois houses you're aware of the likelihood of the political past it's represented through the 20th century. That's just the way it is in Italy. It's not France in this respect. I'm surprized this palazzo isnt listed! I wonder why? Too modern /late in a nation with such old buildings perhaps?
It needs a decade of work at least, in multiple areas simultaneously. Under guidance of a good architect and proper contractor. To get everything from the outbuildings to the wells, house and landscaping in decent shape. But I'd love to see the transformation in five years! That's the only thing possibly missing from this channel, the return visit to some of these properties, once the new owners have put in some efforts to restore and modernize them! I'd LOVE that....I do realize many wouldn't be interested in opening for that, but as they did buy through you, I think some might be willing if you asked kindly at some point? It may sound like a terribly selfish wish, but it might benefit your endgame to show what transformations are possible within in a certain timeframe? I'm grateful for whatever you film honestly.
This was a real treat! GRAZIE MILLE 🙏💕

With some experience in brewing as well as some knowledge of medieval brewing. Keeping some barrels of wine in the attic makes sense . Heat , to boost the yeast. Like atoms, the hotter the atoms get the quicker the move. The warmer the yeast is! The quicker they work. Or that's where they cultivated the yeast batches. Ether or both make sense to me.

Ciao Nick, I love Palazzo del Soli, it does need work, but that's ok, I would look all over for tiles from that period (hopefully) can find some and redo the bathrooms. Also redo the kitchen back to the old-world charm, with modern functionality. It has great acreage, but not sure I would pay the asking price, so it a good it's negotiable. Another great find Nick, thanks for showing it. Amore da N.Y.

Four mile walk completed, blueberry muffins (with an accidental cup more than required milk added-tired eyes, long week) in oven, and really looking forward to this…. Especially since Nick looks like he’s either playing a fütball match or ready to start night walking a Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. WWII history is a nice touch as well!!
Cheers! And looking forward to it!!!

Where is the roasted pig for the center of that table on 1st floor!! lol
What is the name of that fortified wine? Is it still made and will you die if you drink it?

The best I can do on this one, Nick, is if I was a multimillionaire, I would buy this tomorrow. Wagonloads of money for this, but I can see it. Always love the properties with neverending rooms. The entrance hall and staircase was gorgeous already.
    Thanks,
    Neil

Wowza Wowza ! I feel the same excitement as you at all the amazing treasure in the house , many of the lamps and chandlers are so fab, and the entire contents of the cantina. Then the ceilings and doors , garden , bedrooms , parlors , WOWZA . Thank You , wish I could make an offer , that price is what a three bedroom house in Orange County California is going for .

Incredible!! A joy to watch. I know Italy is awash with historian buildings but I was amazed to hear you say it wasn’t listed!!! Who will protect those frescoes ceilings? Hopefully the new owner will be simpatico. The price you mentioned was well below my guesstimate & I was being conservative!! What a steal! The restoration costs will be prohibitive but what a privilege to own and transform the palazzo.
I learned many new things and feasted my eyes on so many treasures. Thank you so much
