This is great!! I will be referring back to this video from time to time. Thank you from Colorado Springs, Colorado - 02-04-24 - Sunday, February 04, 2024 - 9:53 PM
Did you say how to place the paper face up or face down, sorry I didn't see this. Also, can I just fax it without connecting it to a phone line as I thought that was the whole purpose of wireless? Thanks
For your phone line is it active? I do not have a phone jack in my new place and want to know how this works without one. I believe I can hook it in my modem but I don’t have a home phone with my internet provider.
Sorry, I can't as I'm traveling. But the connections should be pretty straight forward. I don't think the machine came with the required USB cable to connect it to the computer. I can't remember if it came with an ethernet cord or phone cord. Either way, once you have the required cables, just line them up with the ports and plug them in. If you haven't done so already, a sub to the channel would be greatly appreciated!
Fax service? I'm not sure what you are talking about. I just plugged a phone line into the machine and sent a fax. If you haven't done so already, a sub to the channel would be greatly appreciated!
I did a quick Google, and it looks like a "fax service" is a more modern thing than just a traditional fax. No service required, just an old fashion phone line and jack.
Hi thanks for the info...I did what you said and it says transmitted but usually it gives you a paper saying ok to confirm it went and it didn't ..is that ok? I'm 65 so sorry if I'm not so advanced in technology lol.
haha no worries. Yes, I was looking for a confirmation page as well, but I did not get one. I ended up calling the recipient to get verbal confirmation that they received it. If you haven't done so already, a sub to the channel would be greatly appreciated!
This is my third video now trying to learn how to do this on a Canon Pixma, because Canon's instructions suck. 4:00 in is where the actual "fax instructions" begin in your video. Way to bury the lead. You know Canon has a test number 1-855-392-2666 (which always seems busy). Send a blank piece of paper with a line on it or something. Too much of the video is blocked out where I feel like I'm missing something. It would be nice to see this video remade showing the process from start to finish, uninterrupted, without having to hide anything, and showing a successful test. I'm gonna keep searching for another video.
Good luck. I hope you find a video that suits your needs. Sorry this one didn't do it for you. If you haven't done so already, a sub to the channel would be greatly appreciated!
What if you don't have a computer? I'm using eFax online services for faxing on the Printer which will be wireless. But I wasn't sure if I was able to add my fax number to it correctly.
As long as you have a phone line, you should be good to go. In the video, I believe the computer connection was really to show the scanning capabilities. If you haven't done so already, a sub to the channel would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks this help so much with my taxes. Technology is not my strong suite!

When you faxed did you hook it up to a telephone line
Yup! Just plugged in an active phone line and sent the fax. If you haven't done so, a sub to the channel would be greatly appreciated!
Can you show how you hooked it up in the back and if you hooked it up to the internet box

Your instructions were incomplete, as you neglected to mention the specific fax service you used. As a result, people were unable to fax.
