I can understand making one of these homemade racing cars based on a plane, a fire engine, even the pizza seems somewhat reasonable, but making a racing car out of a hospital bed is unhinged and I love it.
The town of Greenville, Michigan, has strong Danish heritage and has a huge Danish Festival every year to celebrate. There’s a lot of attention paid to Hans Christian Andersen’s works and other cultural pieces of Denmark. There’s a Lego build competition for kids that I won once, as well as a Princess and the Pea inspired Bed Race in which competitors ride a hospital bed down a hill to try to be the firsł to a finish line. I want to try to sneak in the hospital bed soapbox car from 60459 into the race next year since it just seems so perfect for that.
I really enjoy your reviews. These sets look fun and I too hope they come up with more in the future. On a separate note, I'm curious about the music played at the end of your videos, it's kind of dramatic imo. If you ever do a Q&A video I'd love to learn why you picked that theme in particular.
Missed opportunity to not do this concept with other non-licensed themes (dreamz, Ninjago, friends, monkie kid, etc.). Heck let’s include some vintage call backs or recently retired themes like Hidden Side.

I feel like the story for these could be some big charity soapbox race.
I could totally see that being a story arc in LEGO City Adventures, if that was still around (RIP).

The minifig torsos of the Hospital bed vs Airplane Soapbox racer set looks like CMF.
These are fun. Are the chassis weighted? I don’t really see why else these would need a new base mold.

the dark green plane is probably a reference to the Sopwith camel plane set, there has been 2 or 3 of them
