Ok...yes...FAM is bigger..but dont forget what happened a while back...members of FAM's band weren't even eligible, some weren't even students ...the band had to be cleaned up...AND they will never be as good as they were back in the 80's but all in all these bands are HBCU'S that is what counts...

Even before those days the drum majors couldn't match Bethune. Even with all those numbers. The Horsemen still are the hardest and most working drum majors on field shows than anyone.
Since that 1997 halftime here in Orlando against against FAMU, Bethune owns that venue. It's just another day at the office. And for Sudden Impact, it's a weekend warm-up session with the public in view. That's why they're coming in with the soft hats on and on the walking cadence. The day was already won just coming off the busses. That's also why it's rare BCU seldom March back to the stands after the classic halftime. Goes right back to 1997. SI, led by Greg, James, and myself back then even discussed should we defang those snakes carrying drums once again after the game from a far down on the field, cause once they come out the stands their drums are going right on their bus. Or a trunk in a car.
The class of 76 marching Men of cookman is still the best that has ever done it
