I know it's a bit late based off when you posted but yes you only need an email address any email address to connect you do not have to connect to Tiktok unlike oculus forcing you to connect Facebook in the past

I want to ask like if pico 4 is good enough for work use.I sometimes use oculus for yk work when I am in public (reading mails sending mails browsing RUclips or Netflix sendings texts etc)so is the screen high resolution enough to make it feel like high quality.does it ever feel pixelated like oculus? Hi! We really think it depends on what you mean about "good enough for work use". The Pico 4 has a better resolution (2160 x 2160 per eye) and a bigger field of view. We think its more than good enough for work, but thats just our opinion :)
Update on this: There is delays as per the "tiktok ban" bill. The bill would put heavy restrictions and monitoring on any tech or software from foreign countries. Bytedance being the company behind both tiktok and the pico, is obviously not about to ship a bunch of headsets to the US in the midst of this. So... I suppose we wait. Or purchase off Japanese Amazon, which is what I did.

Its a shame, but the headsets are in general pretty expensive :/ The cheapest one I have seen is the Holokit X where you can use your phone.
