I am curious about what you say with 25% water and air content in soil. The Department of Primary Industries in Australia have a RUclips channel with a video of a large scale test they did on the water holding capacity of different types of soil. The study found (give or take small variations) that the water holding capacity of all soils was only 2% whether it be sand, clay, loam, or what ever. So I am wondering (without being disrespectful to your self) if the information presented in this lecture is outdated? Very much enjoying your lectures though.

Does the temperature of soil in lot and soil in ground need to be same temperature when transplanted?
