This was a lot of fun! Very informative as always with Bey! Since I’m an avid collector, I need to get more of the Hong Kong Legends dvds for the commentaries from Bey Logan.

Love this commentary , I would listen to this a lot , when I was given the 30th anniversary for Christmas some years ago. Cheers for another great upload.

Thanks. The 30th anniversary is exactly where this has been ripped from . I would of put the Bruce Lee commentaries up sooner if i didn't lose it . Thankfully i found it recently in a stack of 360 games in my garage.
I found all the Bruce Lee commentaries by Bey Logan to be excellent. The Fist of Fury one is a tad annoying though, because of all the background noise from the film bleeding into the mic. I guess it was one of his earlier attempts, so it's understandably far from perfect.
I have some cool news for the fans though. I have recently picked up another Fist of Fury dvd. It's the platinum version with an alternative Bey Logan commentary, and without the same problem I have with the other. I'm not sure if I'm going to upload it next, or upload something else related to Bruce Lee. I still have a few more Bruce Lee videos up my sleeve.

I completely agree with you about the Fist Of Fury commentary mate, its very annoying, and out of the boxset its the least one I listen to, because of the background noise. Cant wait for the upload of the the platinum one if you can. Cheers for the ones you have taken the time to upload , they have been appreciated my friend .

Thanks for your kind words. The appreciation is reciprocal.
I get a lot of thumbs down on the videos that I upload. Last month the ratio of thumbs down I received became greater than thumbs up! Jeeez... by that definition this channel has become something negative on youtube.
I understand some youtubers aren't the brightest and maybe think I'm trolling, but they could at least read the title of the video or try to understand what I'm trying to do first, rather than give a dislike and telling me to go fuck myself, lol. They expect the full film to be uploaded in good quality or something for free, like copyright infringement isn't a thing. Commentaries are one thing, full fledge films is a different beast entirely.
As for the Commentary, I've been trying to keep a schedule for uploading on Friday's, so the subscribers know when to check the channel for new stuff. It's also good for me so I don't blow all the content I have too quickly, and space it out a little.
There's a few options I have this Friday. I could upload the Enter The Dragon's director commentary, but I have two issues with that. One, the commentary is pretty awful in my opinion. Two, it has the same problem as the Fist of Fury one we just spoke about but worse. The Enter the Dragon soundtrack has extreme copyright attached to it, so unedited out of the commentary it's restricted in 243 countries, thus making it pointless. I can get around it by editing all the background music from the film out of the commentary, but that will leave holes of dead air into a commentary with too much dead air already. I don't know if it's worth the effort to be honest.

Well firstly those negative comments are indeed by morons who lets face it are as thick as whale omelette , and if they had any sense would do what I do, which is to search out the film on youtube put that but listen to it on your channel. Actually being deaf I put the films on dvd but listen to it on your channel, its easier to listen too. As for the Enter the Dragon Commentary, you are right its awful, compared to the Bey logan commentaries and there is no rush for your next video mate, take your time and put them on when you can. As you say space them out so you dont run out of material . Good luck with future vidoes.

What you do is exactly how i expect people to use it. Search for the film online (many ways that i wont go into) then sync it up with the RUclips video, or just download the youtube video onto your device using easy free online sites, and then do whatever with it. Easy stuff really.
It would be great if Bey could do an unofficial fan commentary for Enter the Dragon (i'm sure he has thought about it) That would be so much better than what we got. I know that the Fright Night cast did that, and i thought it was real cool of them to give back to the fans of the film for free, because the licence owners never gave a crap about putting out thoughtless bare bones versions of such a classic film.
      Thanks.

Gets really interesting at the 8:04 minute mark. They talk about Lee’s “encounter” behind the scenes!

Hey, man. I really appreciate you posting this stuff. Would it be possible for you to upload the audio commentary for Police Story 2 by Bey Logan?

Thanks, glad you like the commentaries. I don't have the Bey Logan Police Story 2 commentary yet sadly, but maybe in the future if i can get it for a good price.

Interesting to note that this version is about 1 and a half minutes shorter than the version on the Hong Kong Legends DVD I've had in my house for a few years. Which version did you rip this from? I notice in other comments you mentioned a 30th Anniversary edition, but I can't see that edition listed anywhere here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Boss#Release.

It could be something as simple as the way the video rendered. Maybe the frame rate was a tad quicker. www.amazon.co.uk/Bruce-Lee-30th-Anniversary-Commemorative/dp/B00009RRYV/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1546981589&sr=8-3&keywords=bruce+lee+box+set Think this was Hong Kong Legends.

Proof that Lee was a great actor is the very different roles he played in all of his films, e.g., in BB he played the shy/unassuming character; in FoF an angry SOB; in WoD a lighthearted ham; and in EtD a serious man of few words. Compare that to all of the other "great" actors (then and now) and consider, for the most part, how very similar all of their characters are.

I think the dubbing on the Fists of Fury/US release was excellent, i.e., all voices seemingly fit the characters perfectly. Do you know who did Lee's voice and/or the voices of any other characters?
