Hathern Village Garage Forecourt Scenes 1954 1955

Here is a small assembly of cine clips obtained in 1954 and/or 1955 on a garage forecourt in the Leicestershire village of Hathern. This garage was located at the junction of Wide lane and the A6 highway and to my knowledge was known as Hensons Garage, providing fuel, auto repairs and also including a small tea room. The shots shown here were recorded by camera on or near the Garage forecourt. These cine shots were extracted from a DVD kindly provided to the Hathern Local History Society. Thank you - Rob the Doc
