Let's take a moment and appreciate how practical and straightforward all Drew's tutorials happen to be. That might seem small, but in fact that's really so helpful for someone who is a few steps behind yet shares similar passion. All roads lead to Debian. Piece!
Glad you like it too. it's pretty nice and will get better I agree though well documented and logical Great video Thanks for the script I am adding it to my debian setups
The first time being slow to compile is very normal, zig is downloading all of the dependencies and their dependencies. After that ghostty build time is much much faster
I did run into a haskell update issue when updating my (Arch-based) distro. I really liked ghostty; it was awesome for a week or so. Kitty and gnome-terminal are fine for now until I can solve this haskell puzzle.
terminator is still the best. Highlight active panes, transparent backgrounds, blur background using blur-my shell gnome extension and supports quake mode and all of the features plus alot more including plugins.

You are welcome!
Re: Change theme. There are some updates that require a restart of GHOSTTY to become effective

Yeah, ghostty is very good software. As everything else from mr. Hashimoto
Nice

Hashimoto is the GOAT
How can you live with the mouse being 23 fps? It's horrible even to watch 😅Anyways, thanks for the video!
I already abandoned ghostty... It's quite buggy tbh
Yeah, it’s quite common for new software to have some issues.
It's frustrating because Ghostty is libadwaita and libadwaita doesn't match desktops that aren't GNOME.
you can disable libadwaita at runtime please do your research, also Server Side Decorations was just added
