- Sure, Gisele Bündchen may emerge from the ocean with perfectly tousled locks, but for most of us, "effortless" beach waves require a texturizing spray, some sort of curling iron, and 30 minutes (or more) of styling-at the minimum. The good news is, that actually doesn't have to be the case. In the video above, celebrity hairstylist Ashley Streicher demonstrates how to get perfectly rumpled tresses sans heat. Sound too good to be true? Trust us: After experimenting with the tutorial firsthand, we can report that our hair fell into gorgeous, natural-looking waves. Needless to say, we've found our go-to summer hairstyle. For Streicher's step-by-step instructions on how to get wavy hair without a curling iron, watch above.

Yeah I just tried this and it's a no-go. This is a technic for a very specific type of hair, which should be specified.
in other words she's just showing us how she dries her natural hair.
This should be titled "How to air-dry wavy hair".......
xsheehee exactly😂
Oh my gosh, she is so sweet and calming! Awesome video, thanks :)
Surprisingly excellent!Love this Zala extension!
I’m going to do your method, I’m excited because now it makes sense yay 😀
I looooooove it! So simple, so great! ❤
great video, I definitely need to use heat styling tools and know how to airdrie my hair without it going frizzy. thank you! x
Honestly, this is such a vibe for me. 😎😎im going to try and recreate with my zalas hair extensions
I'm old, and I remember we did something similar to this in the 1980's, teased the hair, then lots of hair spray. 😊
Do more videos with Ashley! How does she cut her bangs?
Amazing!!! I have received soooo many complements!!
I HAVE to brush it first. My hair gets almost the same effect by putting my (slightly damp) hair in a twisted bun and taking it out when my hair gets more dry. While it's still damp after the bun I'll let I dry the last bit. Boom, much better!
DANG, Ashley! That was good! I’m going to try that tomorrow. And I’m buying Milk and the Rene Furterer texture spray.
I do this every day looks awesome wavy and full of volume my hair is a little longer than hers perfect length for this.
Yeah right. I have very long, super straight, medium fine hair that goes very tangled after I wash my hair because of sheer length. This is for medium to short, fine wavy hair.
Love these colored and all they are great 😊
Life changing!
I wonder if this will work on my fine hair? My hair get very tangled, but I'll try it and see.
where are her bangles from?!?!?! i need to know
I have learnt to do this myself using mark hill curl spray and some dry shampoo. My hair has a slight kink to it though it’s not dead straight
Love her!
If I left my for 35 minutes it would be... the same. Still wet!
I agree this works on almost any hair type. I have pin straight super thick hair naturally and when I brush it after a shower it dries straight. But when I don’t brush it after showering I do get beachy bed head waves, which look even better after sleeping and a little bit of sea salt spray. Definitely going to try some anti frizz though!
I do this too, take a shower at night, add antifrizz, sleep on it and voila!
First time buying a clip ins few weeks ago but wont be the last! 😍😍😍i ordered with ZALA and they arrived THE NEXT DAY!! YAS GIRL, THE NEXT DAMN DAY!
Constantly touching my hair when i have my zala clip inss in 😁 look AMAZING and feeling myself becyase of my zalas😍🙌
So helpful x
SERZ the zala colour chart is so damn helpful , they even do colour matches with your hair which is brilliant if you are unsure of what colour will match your natural hair! 100% Recommend the ponytail ! i pretty much live with mine in!
love my human zala pony i wear it high and low and it really makes my hair go from limp and drab to FAB
She literally has Stevie Nicks 1970 hair
I'd add a couple chunkier braids in for a litle bit more of a curl if you're going to sleep on it. Not the whole head, just a couple random braids on each side.
she looks like lauren Conrad
EMOJI IS ME 🙆♀️ WHEN I LEAVE MY HOUSE WITHOUT MY ZALAS
Highly recommend. Perfect hair quality. Feels like REAL hair. Very happy with my purchase❤️
35 min 😂😂😂 it takes a minimum of 8 hours for my hair to dry. I just recently cut it to to right above my shoulder and even this short it STILL takes an entire workday. 35 min 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Would this depend on your hairtype?
Yes! My hair is wavy, almost curly, and fine, and doing this makes mine end up like a frizzy, knotted curl :/ Haha
yes. hair type is the one thing stylists forget all the time. bruh so annoying
Yes. Because my hair is pin straight and very long, and this technique would not work for me at all.
I want this groovy hairstyle but my hair is rlly straight and flat 😭😭
She reminds me of the blonde woman in Bridesmaids 😄
My hairs takes hours to dry on it's own not 35mins
🤣 just thinking about how this would look on my hair...but yes this is obviously for certain hair types
My hair would still be dead straight just frizzy 😂
eme eme hairdo lab it 😆😆😆😆
Dude my hair would not do this. Maybe if you have natural waves. My hair is like corn silk. The closest I can get to heat free waves is to not brush then SLEEP on damp hair. BUT I still have to volumize and dry my roots or it's pancakes! Even then it's more of a messy bend.
Use more hydrolyzed proteins in your hair products
No.... first my hair will be greasy the next day with so many products,!
why would you all list the products you use????????????????????? grrrrrrr

She is super cute girl but she have straight heavy hair , even her bangs stay straight , my hair is fluffy and like wool , after it is very curly but not beach waves 😂😂😂😂
Step 1: have naturally wavy hair
This is a tutorial for white girls, and white girls alone
