Navigating the uncharted waters of a cancer diagnosis can be an overwhelming and daunting task for patients and care partners alike. ALK 101 is a five part series that seeks to provide the information necessary to make you an informed partner in your cancer care. The ALK 101 series was created to serve as a guide to educate and empower patients and care partners through all phases of cancer.
Part 1: I’ve Just Been Diagnosed with ALK Positive Cancer explores receiving an ALK-positive diagnosis- what that means and what critical steps are necessary to ensure best possible outcomes.
Part 2: Assembling and Managing Your Health Care Team discusses the key players required to have a well rounded care team during all phases of your cancer journey.
Part 3: Cancer Lingo: What Does It All Mean?! aids in understanding the terminology necessary to communicate effectively with your health care team and make informed decisions in your care.
Part 4: I've Progressed, Now What?! reviews how to be prepared when cancer progression happens, and key steps that are necessary to make informed decisions for the best chance of producing good outcomes during this almost inevitable phase of ALK-positive advanced cancer. Viewing ALK 101 Parts 1, 2, and 3 prior to this talk will greatly increase the effectiveness of this session.
Part 5: Life After Lorlatinib examines treatment options available after all FDA approved TKI’s are exhausted, where to find these options and what this care might look like.
Sunday, April 30th ALKtALK launched Part 5 of the ALK 101 series. Watch Drs. Marc Muskavitch and Emily Vananzi, ALK-positive patients and members of multiple ALK Positive, Inc. medical committees, as they walks patients and care partners through this unnerving phase of cancer. This talk is everything ALK-positive patients wished they knew upon diagnosis and everything newly diagnosed patients need to know now. Following the talk there is a Question and Answer session.
Please share these recordings with people in your life interested in learning more about ALK-positive lung cancer and how they can support you. We are #strongertogether

Are you also exploring looking at Fenbendazol? Which seems to have helped stop lung cancer in some individuals, with no side effects.

Is it possible to join to the team? My wife is the case. Myself I'm MD and I have PhD. I was biophysics and physiology lecturer at the Semmelweis University Budapest, Hungary. Also worked in biotechnology (ADME-Tox), in generic preclinical drug development (generic Doxil). My publications you can find in the Medline (Bathori-G, liposomes, mitochondriology, and pharma are the topics)
