Growing up black soon as you stand up for yourself you get hit with "i want you outta my house" It's a shame how black moms force young black men to have submission mentality.

She constantly did her best to belittle him, basically telling him he was worthless, good for nothing, unwanted and unloved. I think what surprised her the most was that he still had a little bit of self-worth left in him, enough to eventually stand up to her. That's probably why she called out " Lord Jesus ", she suddenly understood that Antwone was about to change the narrative, and she didn't have the power to stop him. Well done Antwone.

Whatever she must've went through doesn't give her the right to pass her abuse to no one else especially no child
Sadly, this is what a lot of black teens go through. We think it's normal to discipline children this way and it's not! This is an example of why the black community has mental issues. I've been through a similar situation.
Miss tate remind me of a woman who I used to live with and she used to babysit me she had two older daughters and they both had major anger issues, they also have three kids miss tate reminds me more of the mothers than she does the daughters because the mother was 10 times more horrible to us.
