I think this is such a great idea Jayne. I think I'm going to copy you, but maybe with just like with 4 Eco's, in which I keep my fave inks of all time. At the moment I only have 2 Twsbi Eco's but I'm planning on getting 2 more of their limited editions for this purpose! 😀

Love Twsbi fountain pens! I have 23, washed out a few. They seem to love the shimmer (XF sometimes, the rest I’ve found love it). Great video!

Twsbi’s are fun pens. I remove the nib section to clean out the shimmer inks.

I do love my TWSBIs as well and have quite a few inked up long term as they do not dry up and handle almost anything.
What prompted me to leave this comment though - with all the Eco's out there and all the inks... I have a perfect match in my line up: TWSBI Eco Persian Green in Medium nib with Diamine Marine (mine looks quite brighter, though, but that is probably monitor settings) :D
@@dar.dobreva hi Darina, my Diamine Marine is much brighter, I was recording with artificial lighting and not natural light which I think always makes a difference. I’m glad to have found another kindred spirit with Twsbi Eco’s. I just find them so reliable. I’ve had mine constantly inked up since June last year. Some lovely pairings, Jayne. I really like R.O. Peach. As I use Extra-Fine nibs almost exclusively, I don't think it would show up so well in my writing but I may get myself a sample and experiment for funsies 💛
Purchasing inks based on their names is a great question. It makes me wonder what people think of the Sailor Ink Studio numbering system?
I have definitely purchased some of my inks because of their names (mostly coffee related) ☕

@@storge306 hi Steve, yes I’m not sure how the Peach would show up in an extra fine nib 🤔 Happy to send you a sample for you to try though. Yes I find it hard to remember the numbers on the Sailor Ink Studio ones…I’m always putting a 4 instead of a 7 etc…names are easier for me to remember. Hope you have a great day 😊

• I have definitely had issues with bright orange inks in my extra-find nibs, so I will need to experiment with some yellows. I probably have some samples in my random-chaotic-sample-stash and will give them a try.
• From memory (which is probably wrong), I had thought that the Sailor Ink Studio numbering nomenclature was developed to dissuade folks from purchasing ink/s based on the name/s rather than the specific colour as the top priority when making a decision. I could be wrong though. But your question about purchasing ink because of the name/s prompted me to re-think things because - as I mentioned - I have definitely purchased inks with coffee names (granted, I was looking for a brown ink, but the particular shade/hue was secondary to the name). Speaking of coffee, I have not had enough yet and this probably makes no sense, but it was an interesting question, thank you.

@@storge306 hi Steve, I hope you have managed to have some extra coffee now ;) I find the lighter the ink, the dryer it can be (sometimes) which may be why they don't work well in your EF nibs? Do you have a broader nibbed pen that you could try them in?
@@jppenandink I do actually, yep. The first fountain pen I bought was a cheap Jinhao in a medium bit (as that was the pen that newbies were encouraged to buy back then - as a starting point) and it is a real gusher.
I probably have a few broader nibs and I also have my dip pens which are usually fantastic for those lighter colours. Dip pens are fun and I need to use mine more.
@@storge306 Oh that's good then, you sound like you have a good variety of nibs to try different things in :)
