@ I usually have it with a fine nib. I've used it in a TWSBI and an Esterbrook.

@@FranM6179 hi Fran, it sounds like you have had quite the inky journey. I started with a few bottles of ink that I thought I would use all the time, then I discovered ink samples which really broadened my inky horizons. So far I am really enjoying all the different hues of pinks and reds, can’t say that I would do it every month but it’s fun. Yes the Leonardo pens are rather gorgeous! I think the Pilot E95s pen is such an underrated little pen, and quite an affordable option as far as gold nibs go. Hi Lynne, unfortunately it has already been claimed anyway. What a shame that you don't have instagram. Its the only way I can really get personal name and address details without handing out my own personal email address. @@jppenandink So I ran and pulled out my black version of your pen and I inked it up with Lennon Tool Bar Sesame oil, do you have that color yet? Sesame oil is a wet ink. I wrote with it last night and low and behold, the ink looks dried up on it. So now all I can do is let everyone know I have a bootleg MontBlanc Skywalker that doesn't write. 🤭I will probably see if I can toss a spare jinhao nib in there. I have some laying around. We'll make a Franken-pen 💜

I’m so glad that someone else out there appreciates my “that’s going to drive me nuts” 😂 Both Australian Roses and Poussiere de Lune are such gorgeous inks, I’m not sure why I don’t use them more. I am actually on my second bottle of the Teranishi Opera Rose, it is one of my favourites, a lovely terracotta colour with a hint of pink but nothing too over powering. I’m glad to have found another kindred spirit with Twsbi Eco’s. I just find them so reliable. I’ve had mine constantly inked up since June last year. @@jppenandink Thank you for responding • I have definitely had issues with bright orange inks in my extra-find nibs, so I will need to experiment with some yellows. I probably have some samples in my random-chaotic-sample-stash and will give them a try. • From memory (which is probably wrong), I had thought that the Sailor Ink Studio numbering nomenclature was developed to dissuade folks from purchasing ink/s based on the name/s rather than the specific colour as the top priority when making a decision. I could be wrong though. But your question about purchasing ink because of the name/s prompted me to re-think things because - as I mentioned - I have definitely purchased inks with coffee names (granted, I was looking for a brown ink, but the particular shade/hue was secondary to the name). Speaking of coffee, I have not had enough yet and this probably makes no sense, but it was an interesting question, thank you. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend

@@storge306 hi Steve, I hope you have managed to have some extra coffee now ;) I find the lighter the ink, the dryer it can be (sometimes) which may be why they don't work well in your EF nibs? Do you have a broader nibbed pen that you could try them in?

@@jppenandink I do actually, yep. The first fountain pen I bought was a cheap Jinhao in a medium bit (as that was the pen that newbies were encouraged to buy back then - as a starting point) and it is a real gusher. I probably have a few broader nibs and I also have my dip pens which are usually fantastic for those lighter colours. Dip pens are fun and I need to use mine more.

It looks like you (and your subscribers) could possibly make use of a spreadsheet to keep track of pen inventories - David Parker (aka: Figboot on Pens) has a great spreadsheet available for people to use: ruclips.net/video/kq_F7lNdvFA/видео.html (Note: May not be the current version and you may need to do some digging) It might be a bit daunting at first and perhaps tedious to enter the data, but doing a little at a time will hopefully help some people here.
