Like the fashion show..... NATO Straps have an additional strap that slides through the 2 lugs, so you have 2 straps of nylon under the watch, instead of one. It has squared-off buckles. ZULU (3-Ring) Straps have only 1 long strap, made of thicker nylon cloth, and has thicker beefier rounded buckles.
I have a Gold version on order (MDV106G). I should receive it next week. (It still has the Marlin on it) $40 USD from Amazon. I'll probably change the band to a single pass through band, like I have on my current field watch. I have a 7-1/2" wrist, so I shouldn't have a problem with this 44mm watch.
Just ordered the Blue Marlin Duro. According to Jody on his review of the new Marlins for 2021, Casio is not renewing their licence for the Marlin logo on the Duro. So, I thought I better grab a Marlin Duro while there are still stocks. Like many, I'm not exactly keen on the supplied rubber strap, and I'm looking to pair it with a blue rubber dive strap or mesh strap. I've got some from Vostok and they are really decently made and good value for its price. However, after looking at your strap fashion show, I'm thinking that I should try it out with a solid steel oyster style strap. I saw Jody trying it on one with a contour fit and it looked gorgeous to me. So, I'm hunting around for a decent on. I've tried Ali Express, and they have a decent version there, but I want to see if I can get an Engineer style contour fit steel strap. Anyway, stay safe and hope you don't get house fever during the latest lockdown in Malaysia today.
