I love how throughout the demo, he is just firing off random lore and facts about the game's geography and history as if it was real. I appreciate the time being put in to this thing on every level.

This game looks like the perfect mix of Fallout New Vegas and Bioshock. And I'm hard for it.
The game's audio is too loud as opposed to the guy talking :( Looks decent tho :)
This is great and all, but as soon as a character in the game starts to speak, anything Brian or Leonard are saying is utterly drowned out.

Outerworlds borderlands and cyber punk within the same year. This is going to be the best year of gaming in a long time.

Holy hell, I was looking at the videos on this channel and on the thumbnail I saw a familiar face. I was like nah, it can't be Matt Miller, this is not Game Informer. Clicked on the video, lo and behold, it's really him!
This is awesome, it's the Fallout we never got from Bethesda after New Vegas.

@Clockwork Man they do add to immersion, but gameplay is always primary. Look at Super Metroid, damn immersive for what it is and also a gameplay juggernaut

If they really wanted to give us options, why not give us the option to buy it on Steam.
You do know the developers had nothing to do with the decision right? That's all on the publisher and unfortunately the devs end up taking the fall

I think the game's art style looks pretty good, might say its a bit dated but I think it is very fitting for the atmosphere. I'm excited to see what it is like when it comes out, but I am NOT buying it off Epic... Way to ruin your sales prospects

@@ZOMGILOST Kotor 2 i have no idea,never played it,but for New Vegas,Bethesda rushed obsidian kept moving the deadline back.. so basically they had to release a buggy version a lot of stuff happened behind the scenes,google it
@@United4Games obsidian's games are just as bugged as bethesda's if not more. Hell, they can manage to make games like pillars run buggy.

Point A to point B? Or open world?
It’s a semi-open world according to devs. There are multiple hubs that you can explore but not like ES or Fallout where it’s one huge place you can explore.

Game is looking great, just a shame I will have to wait quite a bit to actually buy it. GOG and Steam are enough for me.
Okay, so you introduced VATS again. Got it.
I mean these guys are the ones that made the original Fallout which had VATS in it. So pretty much they created VATS. Sure this is similar but I like it a bit more since it makes sense in universe and it's connected to your character. Also you slow down time and you have to shoot by yourself to a certain body part not just select it like it VATS. I think it's a nice addition to gameplay. Also notice how the purple bar drains slowly when you slow it down and goes down pretty fast when you shoot.

My only issue so far is the enemy aggro range. The player always got first hit. Made things too easy and lessened the variables.

@@Flowerz__ I'm referring to when they were outside. The enemies were looking right at them and didn't react.

Zooming in to talk to npcs is something i hope we can move on from. It would make it more interactive please stop locking us into looking at things

Dude should know when to stop talking or they need to turn the game audio down.
Can't wait to try this game out on the *Microsoft Store* even though it would be my first game _EVER_ on this specific store just because of principle avoiding the Epic Game Store.
Maybe one year later I will play it again with all its expansions and 100% bug free on the fully-fledged and MUCH superior store *Steam*.
I'm really glad that Microsoft purchased them so that Obsidians next game shouldn't be an exklusive one and should release on its store and Steam too.
For people who want to play this on PC but hate Epic's store: it will be included in the Game Pass.
Will we be able to play this game without companions? Or will they be mandatory? That's the real question here

She's a hunter but she uses a minigun. Yes it's always a good idea to shred your prey into a thousand pieces. Pre-ground hamburger meat.

The best part is you can play how YOU want to play ....
My only issue is how similar it looks to fallout. The games are great and the story telling is awesome. I’m sure it’ll be similar here, but the gameplay might feel outdated and clunky. I’ll be checking it out either way though

LEONARD TEAM RPG
That "zoom uncomfortably close to the NPC's face and put up a big rectangle for text" look was outdated when Fallout: New Vegas came out and it looks 10x as outdated now. It makes this game look ancient during dialogue.

It will likely change but I find the hud to be good
I agree 1000% the graphics looks fine and the gameplay looks terrific but this UI is terrible.

Those dialog options are trash and for an owner of a criminal organization she has the vocabulary of your local McDonald's Manager from the 1970's. Is this game Rated T? It can't be Rated M or Pegi 18. Sadly Fallout 4 looks more appealing than this, that's upsetting. I hope they can show more later.

@@zak4829 There's plenty of people who believe there hasn't been a good Fallout game since 2010 (New Vegas), and that there probably won't be in a very long time. If Obsidian can't develop anymore Fallout games, I'm glad there is an alternative.

I guess we'll wait and see. Not expecting anything mind blowing, but it looks like it'll be fun enough. It's the narrative and multiple choices that excite me.
Will they defend it? Or do they just have different preferences than you do? You know, like humans do. "If you like something I don't, you're a fanboy." Nice.
Garbage gameplay and possibly the most annoying gameplay footage simply because he chose to talk over the entire thing. 1 out of 10. All interest lost.
Totally impossible to listen to. No one wants to hear you to talk over the dialogue, just let the game speak for itself.
