Thank you for pointing this out he admitted to not using oil and then blamed the bar kind of silly to put it nicely all chainsaw bars need oil and these small 50 buck saws need a lot of oil to work right I keep mine well oiled and it serves me very well I really like to see things tested to destruction but please don't sabotage the product to purposely make it fail and then condemn its quality
@@lmbcvt look at the number of cuts. Then the end of the bar split open far enough for the gear to fall out of the saw. The battery repeatedly overheated quickly. Those 2 problems happened so many times to many people that the company has now started using a different bar and a different battery. If I felt this saw would work well I would still be using it. People forgetting to oil the bar is very common. I only decided to push it to its demise because I was sick of the battery overheating.
@ALs-Outdoors l don't blame you for being a little upset with the POS saw the battery's that come with these saws are the lowest grade junk it's somehow possible to put a charge in and the bars are also low grade soft steel but I stand by what I said intentionally running it without oil is sabotage and perhaps you should have titled the video how I got revenge on a pice of junk And it's true that many people neglect to oil there bar properly as many neglect there engine oil thus resulting in the fact that the purveyors of aftermarket engine blocks and chainsaw bars do a brisk business Now having said all that I must say that with a good quality well oiled bar and good quality name brand 8 amp hr. battery these saws can be a good handy tool for a dirt cheap price
@@lmbcvt I agree a name brand would be best. The most recent saw I reviewed however is still going strong and has not overheated once. (Its in my side by side right now). I will always push product reviews hard as I can because I want to be honest. I refuse to give a good review simply to keep getting free stuff. I can not spend a year making a video on how it lasts so I push it. And as I said... if it weren't overheating so much I wouldn't have pushed it that hard. I was already fed up with it. It is junk and even though they now changed the battery and the bar since this video was published I stand by that statement. They shouldn't test unsafe garbage on customers. If they ain't proud of it they shouldn't ask me to try it...that's a fact. 😂
I liked mine for small things, they send me the one with the 6” blade an extra battery and two extra chains but I was wondering how they’re going to hold up under stress. Thanks for sharing brother
I actually have one of these, but mines a different brand. Im kinda liking the one I have. Just used it for cleaning up a bunch of downed branches after a storm.
You did a great job on this review Al. I've heard those little saws were handy, but I've never seen a bar sprocket wear out like that.....especially that fast! Personally, I'm getting kind of tired of doing reviews. I've got some nice things, and some real junk. I have several left to do soon, and then I'm going to be more picky about what I accept.
@@ALs-Outdoors I'd do the same. I hate a liar and even worse is a liar for profit. I had one I told them I wouldn't do a review on. They got mad, and I told them "You won't like what I say, do you want it back?" Funny, I haven't heard form them in awhile....
Thank you for being honest buddy I really appreciate it I’m a woman and was thinking about getting one for small stuff but it looks aggravating and I sure don’t need that God bless you for being honest ❤
The bar and the battery is different on this one and clearly I wasn't the only complaint because they now have a different bar and battery. The 2 things that failed in this video. The bar coming apart and both the chain and sprocket flying off was a dangerous problem. I am glad they have tried to resolve these issues.
Bought one March 2023. Used it on 4 Crepe Myrtles. Took it out April 2024, and doesn’t even work. GEEEZ. After 4 Crepe Myrtles and one later, this POS is going in the trash.
If your going to do a review, it would be best not to say "nope" before you even open the product. It was also obvious you didn't bother reading the instructions that came with it. If you had, you would have known that the battery indication is on the back of the battery. You had already made up your mind before the review.
There is no battery indicator on this particular model. You clearly made up your mind as to how to comment without facts. Since the posting of this video they now come with a different bar and a battery indicator. This cheap junk almost got me hurt and I am allowed to voice my opinion. Thanks for the comment it helps my channel grow. Yet this product still gets 👎👎 from me.
The whole point is... the saw I had was junk. It blew apart while I was running it almost causing injury. The battery kept quickly overheating and shutting off. It is in the landfill now because it was junk.
You ran it without reading instructions or using oil. No oil...from the start, what did you expect?
I expected to push it hard and perform better. The bar came apart and it happened so much they now use a different bar. 🤷♂️

Thank ya...keep an eye on the pin in that bar is a bit unsafe.
I just bought one and so far it's doing good on 4in branches and salt treated 2x6s good buy
They changed the bar and the battery. Glad they did
Saving people heartache and frustration
Just telling it as it happens. I will say I didn't bother with the customer service in this one. I dont want another one.
I always stayed away from those mini batteried saws my Silky would blow that thing out the water. Thanks AL for the honesty.
always
I'd rather use a silky hand saw....
I'd even rather use my knife!😂
That thing cuts like a champ 👍🔥🤠
I’m guessing it’s more for occasional use. I’ll be finding out soon
Yeah... I fixed it but it still overheats if I go to fast for 5 minutes or so
I actually have one of these, but mines a different brand. Im kinda liking the one I have. Just used it for cleaning up a bunch of downed branches after a storm.
It does great it just keeps overheating and the sprocket coming out was a big dealbreaker.
@@ALs-Outdoors yeah I'd be pretty ticked about that. Especially if i paid for it.
I just put out a review today and loved it but mine didn't break! Wishing you the best brother!
I just commented on yours while mine was loading. 😂

I appreciate the mini for many things. I did a review a number of months ago.
Seemed ok until it started overheating and broke. Maybe I just got a bad one.🤷♂️
Thank you for being honest buddy I really appreciate it
I’m a woman and was thinking about getting one for small stuff but it looks aggravating and I sure don’t need that
God bless you for being honest ❤
Thank you. I always will be. Money or free stuff ain't worth lying to people.
I received the Saker mini chainsaw for Mother's Day! Best gift ever, love it!
They have fixed the issues since this video and I'm happy to see it.
A lot more good reviews than bad reviews...still a great little pruning saw.
They changed the bar and the battery since this video. No idea how the newer ones are.
I’m using mine for small stiffcc bc snd prepping tree stands we will see if mine breaks. Good honest review👍
Thank ya brother. Mark said the same thing just happened to his.
Haha this outro what epic! Great job on this review! Thanks for sharing! Greetings from germany 🤠👋
Thank ya! I dress as Santa every year but they wont monetize it for some reason. 🤷♂️😂
Good review

That is definitely an honest review. Maybe you can make an exciting part 2 with some tannerite.
🤓
Sorry it badly for you, mine good for small stuff! Have a great day!
I fixed it but it still overheats. Is what it is.🤷♂️
HAHA! NOPE! Great review brother! Noone can say you didn't give it an honest try!
I dont like tools that cant work as hard as I do! 😂
great test and honest review
Thank ya brother say howdy to your son for me.🇺🇸
Will do
I actually like it, but I did say in my review that it kind of depends on whether it has good durability!

Just saw your review Al! Hopefully mine holds up brother. 😮😮😮
Yours has a different bar and battery. Seems I wasn't the only one.😂
@@ALs-Outdoors Thanks for getting it improved!
My mini saw chain was constantly coming loose. More aggravating than useful. Sent it back for refund.

Oh heck

Did you mean bar? Blade? WTH? It SOPPED running? Vanna! Can I buy a "T?" Bars & chains for these are very $ cheap to buy!

Should follow the directions-first
Its junk... came apart in my hand flinging parts and a very sharp chain so it is unsafe junk.
