Thanks for telling people that seeds will last for years. That’s one of the great misconceptions among gardeners. I’m a seed hoarder and can never pass up a deal on seeds. Unfortunately, knowing that seeds last much longer than people realize, only facilitates my addiction 😊. I love MI Gardener, and just got a big order of, end of the year, discounted seeds. I’ve never gotten their grab bad, but hopefully I’ll be able to in the future.
I’ve definitely used the same pack of seeds many years in a row with great results! I get it though, my seed collection is bigger than it should be too! I actually just ordered this year’s MIgardener seed grab bag and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in it and growing them next season!
That’s so strange - did you try contacting them? I feel like that must have been an accident - I certainly couldn’t go through 22 packs of pinto beans!
Well they all look like they could be interesting to plant. I'd find a small patch of you garden to plant both tupes of corn for you chicken girls never know it might be the year it takes
Wonderful seed haul! 😊❤
Thank you!
Great seed haul! Very nice variety.
Thank you!
I LOVE sorrel. They are great fresh in spring rolls and salads. I love bush beans too; I don't have to mess with trellising!
I haven’t really used sorrel much, but I’m excited to give it a try!

I didnt get near as much variety from my grab bag. I got 8 lettuce 2 of which were duplicates and 22 packs of pinto beans

Yeah, that had to be a mistake. I would contact them. If they were sending that it should have sent with a full refund lol.
Shungiku used often in Japanese Cuisine like in soup or claypot dish or shabu2 (I often see it used in shabu shabu along with seafood).
I will have to do some more research - I’m not familiar with any of those dishes! Thank you for sharing!
Persimmons are so good as a snack! And my husband doesn’t like beets but he will eat them pickled in salads
I haven’t tried them pickled - that may be a fun way to try them!

I’m sure my chickens would appreciate that!
