I have avs and air suspension on my tundra and i must say it is by far the most comfortable truck to drive and i dont know what do ppl expect when switching from normal to comfort but when switching normal to sport plus its night and day difference
Thanks for explaining this! Was interested in regards to the upcoming Toyota Crown and you explained everything super well! The graphics in the Tundra helped when switching modes too 😂
The lowering helps with hitching up to a trailer. I have a Range Rover and when I trailer, it comes in handy where I don’t have to manually use the jack. I’ve got my tundra 1794 coming with the TRD package soon but I was tempted to get the AVS because I tow quite a bit
As I replied to another post, there are no compliant lift kits for the AVS. Not even the factory TRD kit. Key point if you need a lift to accommodate larger tires.
Did you find a big difference in overall ride quality with the rear air suspension vs the coil 5 link on your limited… been reading people say the air ride is rough and not a comfortable ride. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks Enjoy your videos!
The information is not accurate. The capstone comes standard with the AVS. It does not come standard with the air suspension. It is true that in the other trims they are paired together but that is not the case with the capstone. The air suspension is the only option you can obtain on the capstone
Likely same with 1794 edition. Most important to remember is that there are no compliant lift kits for the AVS system - not third party nor the TRD 3" OEM lift kit (as I just discovered recently with mine).
Thank you, having a situation where i need to choose between adaptive and normal suspension, you assured me normal will be ok, i needed this, 1000$ plus for the adaptive pair, 300-400$ for the regular suspension... Huge difference in price for a crappy gimmick as i suspected...
Engineering background thank you for the review this was my question and nobody could answer me. Is it worth it, that depends if you think $75,000 is worth it but I think it is worth it. Compared to F150 platinium, which tops at $80,000 and Ram Limited $80,000, it is actually not bad when you think of it in those terms. If you want the fuel efficacy, I recommend the I force match. Since I like off roading, I think it is worth it and you don't need to worry about lifting the truck, like on other models that don't have it.

I have platinum coming next week with AVS, because I have nothing to tow, so I wish I can get the TRD package which more comfort ride than the AVS

I’m trying to find a lift kit and I cannot. Wow.

Thank you....great video...would want to know if this is the same for the Sequoia...AVS..my guess the same as Tundra..what are your thoughts?
My capstone only has normal sport and eco I don’t have the other options. Any reason why?
Thanks in market for sequioa right now and i was wondering if i should find platnuim with avs. Im taking your advice and going no.
Does this feature Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension avail in TRD Pro or the Limited with TRD OR package?
Great explanation thanks

I like those tow mirrors. My platinum didn't come with those.
Can avs be had if we also select trd off road package?
I just wish mine would stay on high. I like the look of the rake of my truck that way.
Auto leveling does not come standard on platinum
Thank you for the information. That truck is almost the one I want, just missing a hybrid engine. Come on Toyota and build mine please!!!
Hybrid doesn't seem worth it at all. As soon you break even the cells will have to be replaced one after another. 😂
@@JIPlatium The Prius has an entirely different hybrid system.
Nobody talks about the replacement cost of the AVS($$$$😢)
When it fails, just replace it with the standard suspension...
That blue stitching is ugly on platinum!!! Why can’t it just be a black stitch???
