I like when drummers treat syncopated grooves like this as Salsa grooves, adding in the left-foot clave. JP Bouvet did some nice odd-time clave stuff like that.
It would be interesting to practice this with a steady 4 4 pulse, so as to get familiarized with the displacements and maybe be able to play around with this in a 4 4 musical situation, because if not there s not going to be many 19 16 situacions. By the way is it really 19 16? Shouldnt it be 19 20? I think that notation doesnt exist, but it make s more sense to me like that. awesome groove bro
