This is it, what you've all been waiting for! The grand reveal and the sweet sweet sounds of that Hooligan Exhaust in the wind... (record scratch)
Doh! OK, let's wire the bike up first.
Todd shows you how to wire up your tail light properly and gives lots of tips and tricks on how to test your connections and light to make sure you are installing it correctly. He also shows you a good way of tidying up the main wiring harness by the back bone before putting on the gas tank for the last time.
After the seat gets installed t's time to stop and stare at all that we have accomplished together. Todd walks you through the bike from front to back and gives an overview of all the things we added to the bike to make it the way you see it now.
Watch as Todd takes off on the bike for the first time. He gives it a little hell as he rips around our neighborhood. "B'da, B'da, B'da... That's all Folks!"
We really do hope you found these free tutorial videos super helpful and inspiring. One of our main goals with this project was to show all of you how to build a really awesome bike, step-by-step, without doing any kind of welding or major fabrication work.
We feel this bike is a great example of just that. So break out those tools, grab a beverage, and get in that garage! We are excited to see your rendition of the Saturday Sportster. Thanks to everyone for watching and we hope to see your Saturday Sportster come to life on our social media channels. Post up your Sportster project and use the hashtag #saturdaysportster
Till next time... we will see ya in Saturday Sportster Season 2, which is already in the works!
WHAT PARTS WERE USED TO BUILD THE SATURDAY SPORTSTER?
Interested in how to build a custom Sportster, and what parts to use on the build? Well, you made it to the EXACT right place :) Watch the Saturday Sportster and follow along! You can find all the parts used when building the Saturday Sportster at www.lowbrowcus...
PLAYING GAMES WITH TODD MULLER OF LOWBROW - What's almost as fun as working on a bike with Todd in your garage on a Saturday? Playing a fun game and learning from Todd at the same time! Every time you hear Todd let loose with one of his trademark "Whooooo!", and you see Todd's face sticker pop on the bottom right part of your screen, take a drink (adult beverage, seltzer water, chai tea, hey, you do you)! Play along with friends for added fun

Tip when you want to pull wires through conduit or tight cable channels: Use some alcohol. It makes the wires slide way easier und evaporate afterwards without any residue.
I always have a spray can of isopropyl alcohol around for jobs like this in my shop!

My summer project is getting my 1971 Triumph T120R back on the road. I've had this bike stuck in the corner of the garage for over 30 years. I got it started the other day after 20 years. It started on the first kick after refreshing the Amal carb. Yes the guy I got it from put a TR6 head on it. It's in a 1965 frame with a bolt on hard tail. I just put in a new clutch that I got from you guys. It also has a Girder front end that I'll have to restore. It still has the original tires and tubes that I aired up a week ago and they are still holding air. They of course will have to be changed. My next step is knocking out the ball bearing races and putting in the new roller bearings that I've had for 20 years.

@@kurtfoulke5130 by the time Harley-Davidson was bought back, the company was going under due to AMF's negligence, poor quality control, and how they treated thier workers. @@Bahlzeron by 69 H-D was in trouble, luckily American Machine and Foundry stepped up with the capital to bring the Motor Co. back from the dead.
Modern manufacturing techniques & facilities, engineering, design & advertising made them #1 in the heavy bike market again.
Thank AMF for the XR750, disc brakes, electronic ignition, mag wheels, the Super Glides line, rubber mounted frames, the Softail line, the Evo motor ... the list goes on !
Poor Quality Control can be blamed on the UAW Union more than the manufacturer.

Nice job Todd. My three cents -
    1) When splicing a harness, stagger cut the wires to avoid having a football under the heat shrink & lessen the chance of a short.
    2) If making a true scrambler, use the stock or fab a plastic lower rear fender guard to keep rocks & mud from your electronics area.
    3) A fork brace can help keep the front wheel going in the right direction.

I noticed that having raised the front and the rear suspension the prop stand was left somewhat high and dry. Is it a new stand or can the OE one be modified?
