I remember when it was horrible to play about 4-5 years ago, but I still enjoyed it. I'll always have a fondness because it taught me how to play a heavy in Wot Pc. It's still my favorite tier 8 tech tree tank to play. I think now it is much more playable, though there isn't spaced armour like the IS tanks.
I remember playing it before the buff, it was hard to drive it, everyone could penn you, but its teached me how to angel and you could still pull good games in it. Now, this tank is completely beast, very good armor, good speed and amazing gun, I absolute loving it! But wg should made tutorial about angeling, especially for german tanks, I saw so manny players in higter tiers that dont know how to angel and they got wrecked

I think with how balanced the tier 7 and tier 9 are, this being so perfectly balanced just brings the whole line together. It's just so smooth, and works pretty well whether it's the armor or the gun or the speed.
Like 2-3 years ago I had managed to hold on my own in the tiger II against 2 medium tanks one being higher tier and that was the best battle I ever had also my first mastery was in this tank though now it's a difficult tank to play against
I am definitely of the belief that when it comes to tech tree tanks in the game, that were based on real tanks that were actually in production and actually in a war type situation, that they should reflect the impact on the world and the battlefield environment that they to pardon. By this what I mean, is tanks like the panther, tiger one, and king tiger, that they should reflect the tanks that they were in the world when they were made. They were all awesome technical achievements that change the face of Warfare as we knew it. For a long time, these tanks were ignored by wargaming. Finally, they are the tanks in game that they were in real life. Nice job or gaming. Great video!

You would have someone send you a replay and without viewing the persons stats you watch one or two of their games and they you try to guess what winrate the person is based on the gameplay and tactics used by the person. You could make it more interesting by bringing in guests like Droodles, Pantoufleee, or Hisroyalfatness to help you guess. I hope you like the idea! I think it would be awesome! How do the opposing tank all of a sudden, disappear, then reappear. The marking above the tank also disappears. I can't figure it out. Can you explain? Really like your informative videos
So, from the replays, what I think they should change on this thing is the power-to-weight ratio. This thing goes too fast if it’s going to be a super heavy, and should be reduced by 10 or 15% I think, or make the hull traverse I little slower. Either this, or there’s a a machine gun port on the front which I think should have 140mm of armour instead of the 160 across the rest of the hull. Just my opinion.
It’s been since 2017 since I played it, so I can’t say anything about the current Tiger 2, but the pre-buff tiger 2, I had a 64% wr with it, at a time when my average wr was about 54% or something, so I think it was pretty good even before it was buffed.
I had it 2 years ago and i sold it for the E 75. It definitely wasn't a keeper back then. That lower plate was garbage, same for the turret as well and side armor. Not to mention the upper plate, is penable with pramo anyways. And for TDs that use calibrated, can still punch through. So basically, the tank was paper all over.
To be fair, I dont mind Tiger II was buffed with its insane amount of armor, and I dont like the idea of dealing with heavies need to force to load gold, this encourages players to ditch the standard rounds and load full gold. Sure get less dpm but it has to deal with heavies, now Tiger II is weak again, WG needs to buff its armor again, continuing loop. What I would’ve suggest, is All Heavies that doing a brawling fight than hulldown, should’ve lower plate as a weakspot for any tanks to pen you, with standard rounds, courage you to play slightly passive and do a side scrape. Because, Heavy Tanks for me, is the frontliner who cause stalemates for enemies to push at you. Look at E75, that thing cause stalemates quite often.
Actually no, the germans named it the tiger b, however most people in the german army called it the königstiger, or the royal tiger, however allied soldiers interpreted it as king tiger, however higher ups didn't want their soldiers calling an enemy vehicle, king so they designated it as tiger 2
tiger II is insane with a competent player, but all the ones that i come up against still cant seem to figure out how to drive and aim, so it is as easy as switching to prammo or flanking it, or just killing it via attrition because of higher dpm, as the Tiger II does suffer a bit in that department. have 3 marked mine in WoT Console, and it is the pre buff version, so i can safely say that when playing the Tiger II, it is busted, but that is how it is with most tanks...they are only as good as the person controlling them.

But I do feel the lower plate shouldn’t be quite as strong as it is, since all these tanks have the lower plate as a weak spot, it feels a tiny bit much to me to have the Tiger 2 have a lower plate that’s so strong that it tends to require premium rounds to get through if you’re equal and lower tier, while all the rest of the tanks in the line don’t really have that. I would like it if they just slightly nerfed it so it was more like the other tanks where it is strong enough to be potentially troll if you know how to angle and wiggle and stuff, but ideally you’d rather try to hide the lower plate and not rely on it too much at all. So I feel that a slight nerf to the lower plate would put it into that perfect sweet spot for me.

I love this tank, good speed the armor can be such a pain to pen yet if you get too cocky in it you will take so many hits. The gun is truly reliable also.
Just had a 4.7k dmg tier 8 loss in this thing yesterday, literally only lost because of a bogus bounce that RNG decided to troll me. Still got a mastery, even in a loss. Lovely tank, frustrating RNG.
I think Tiger II needs the 12,8cm Kanone 40 from Sturer Emil , since every Russian Heavy from Tier 7 has a 122mm cannon and the T34 a 120mm cannon ... then it would be a Baby E-75: DDD. I don't get why people angle their turrets in tiger II or like arl44 (which is very similar), it's not like an e100 or maus, the second you start angling the turret sides get really really weak
The Tiger II in my opinion is what all tanks should be, balanced and fun to play. In a perfect world that could be achieved but eh, sometimes having tanks that are weaker than others or stronger is fun too Just not Smasher and Annihilator levels of strong though
So according to 22, July 2021, this thing is just pramo bait, it's still good, but the 252 is miles better now, it's armor just disappears to most tier 8 pramo,and by that I mean tier 8 heavy tanks that ur meant to brawl with front line, unlike the 252u whose armor is still very sturdy despite all the pramo running around, I'd choose any other soviet tier 8 heavy or even the vk 100 for sidescrapin, those track wheels are weak af. But I think it's my problem as well I'm used to playing tanks good at what they do like the is-3 for sidescrapin and emil/t32 for Hull down, Tiger 2 doesn't have such attributes going for it, and oh my don't forget the cupola, even tier 7 pen me if I stop moving back and forth to aim my shot. And the gun too is mediocre and has nothing really going for it, basically not my piece of cake. If ur up against a player, even a average 50% wr will pen u either easily through pramo or ur cupola, srsly even my is-5 doesn't have problems hitting that from 100m given its poor dispersion.
The T29 can't win directly, sure it can bounce tiger 2 shoot from hull down position, but it can't shoot the tiger 2 back because the gun can't pen, especially if both is very good player the tiger 2 have the advantage especially when angled, that's my opinions (I'm a T29 player and I love it so I can have my opinion xD)
I've been playing for 6 months just can't get T2 to work.. I use free acc and normal rounds and the odd AP rounds when acting higher tiers.... just feels fat and slow and maybe everyone uses gold rounds against me because it feels like the Hull can be hit by anything ... only get ricochet off turret... I have good crew 9n there 4th 100% skill set but I just give up.... its frustrating to be in such a glass tank ... I have really given this plenty of time as I did Tiger 1... Tigerb1 was the same but its now amazing and I get over 2k dmg lots times and managed to get mastery gun use 67% and rising.... sorry to go on but I'm trying to say I'm not a total noob but whT the he'll M I doing right in Tiger 1 compared to Tiger 2 ???
My only problem with this tanks is the turret multiple Times i got killed is when they shooting the turret even when i research the upgraded turret of the tiger2. I am trying my best to keep the turret forward but still they can pen yes the body is armored but the turret just meh

Dude It is OP in my actions X I don't use gold ( I am not an paid user I got it from snowglobe event ) and the thing is in that tank the lower part of tiger 2 is more armored then the upper part of tiger 2 no kidding I got as much close to tiger 2 and I still couldn't pen lower part I need to face hug tiger 2 and shoot in upper part or I shoot at cupola and I hope tiger 2 player isn't that much good player.

In real life, it is the Tiger II, it was nicknamed "Konigstiger" which translates to King Tiger.

I love this tank, good speed the armor can be such a pain to pen yet if you get too cocky in it you will take so many hits. The gun is truly reliable also.
When I play it it feels way to strong, but when I go up against it, it feels just perfectly balanced. Interesting...
I love the Tiger II in the right hands it can be brutal. I never buy gold ammo and the damage is just brilliant.
Just had a 4.7k dmg tier 8 loss in this thing yesterday, literally only lost because of a bogus bounce that RNG decided to troll me. Still got a mastery, even in a loss.

Don't get comfy on Tiger II and E75 armor profile you will get slapped at tier X
I only got 150 battles so far on my E75, and the worst part is (i think) more than 100 battles us a tier 10 game

I think Tiger II needs the 12,8cm Kanone 40 from Sturer Emil , since every Russian Heavy from Tier 7 has a 122mm cannon and the T34 a 120mm cannon ... then it would be a Baby E-75: DDD.
As an alternative to the 10.5cm cannon, but the 10.5 should remain in it.

I don't get why people angle their turrets in tiger II or like arl44 (which is very similar), it's not like an e100 or maus, the second you start angling the turret sides get really really weak
The tiger 2 still can’t side scrape. Tier 9s will still shred your side armor like cheese.
Tiger ll is great but...... with the teams I always end up the last tank on the field being circled by 4 tanks.
The Tiger II in my opinion is what all tanks should be, balanced and fun to play. In a perfect world that could be achieved but eh, sometimes having tanks that are weaker than others or stronger is fun too

WG should buff IS-3 armor, not tiger 2, if you want to penetrate Tiger 2's armor, you will need about 250 mm of penetration

I have only a 47% wr on this but for the playstyle, I enjoyed it. *A LOT*
So according to 22, July 2021, this thing is just pramo bait, it's still good, but the 252 is miles better now, it's armor just disappears to most tier 8 pramo,and by that I mean tier 8 heavy tanks that ur meant to brawl with front line, unlike the 252u whose armor is still very sturdy despite all the pramo running around, I'd choose any other soviet tier 8 heavy or even the vk 100 for sidescrapin, those track wheels are weak af. But I think it's my problem as well I'm used to playing tanks good at what they do like the is-3 for sidescrapin and emil/t32 for Hull down, Tiger 2 doesn't have such attributes going for it, and oh my don't forget the cupola, even tier 7 pen me if I stop moving back and forth to aim my shot. And the gun too is mediocre and has nothing really going for it, basically not my piece of cake. If ur up against a player, even a average 50% wr will pen u either easily through pramo or ur cupola, srsly even my is-5 doesn't have problems hitting that from 100m given its poor dispersion.

Not at all. Only if Tiger's tankist is noob. I am a Tiger owner and i never went toe-toe against T29.
The T29 can't win directly, sure it can bounce tiger 2 shoot from hull down position, but it can't shoot the tiger 2 back because the gun can't pen, especially if both is very good player the tiger 2 have the advantage especially when angled, that's my opinions (I'm a T29 player and I love it so I can have my opinion xD)

I've been playing for 6 months just can't get T2 to work.. I use free acc and normal rounds and the odd AP rounds when acting higher tiers.... just feels fat and slow and maybe everyone uses gold rounds against me because it feels like the Hull can be hit by anything ... only get ricochet off turret... I have good crew 9n there 4th 100% skill set but I just give up.... its frustrating to be in such a glass tank ... I have really given this plenty of time as I did Tiger 1... Tigerb1 was the same but its now amazing and I get over 2k dmg lots times and managed to get mastery gun use 67% and rising.... sorry to go on but I'm trying to say I'm not a total noob but whT the he'll M I doing right in Tiger 1 compared to Tiger 2 ???
My only problem with this tanks is the turret multiple Times i got killed is when they shooting the turret even when i research the upgraded turret of the tiger2. I am trying my best to keep the turret forward but still they can pen yes the body is armored but the turret just meh

The tiger 2 is balanced because if you get tier 9 like those big gun the armor of the tiger 2 just like butter
If you angle correctly you can still bounce quit a lot of shells. But sadly, big amount of people dont know how to angel, even on higter tiers

@@anonym_3241 i tried on both sides this situation and sometimes if in the IS-3 u manage to go like left right or backwards and stuff like that u can get some troll bounces even with APCR... But its logic APCR has smallest ricochet angles

Dude It is OP in my actions X I don't use gold ( I am not an paid user I got it from snowglobe event ) and the thing is in that tank the lower part of tiger 2 is more armored then the upper part of tiger 2 no kidding I got as much close to tiger 2 and I still couldn't pen lower part I need to face hug tiger 2 and shoot in upper part or I shoot at cupola and I hope tiger 2 player isn't that much good player.
