    I would really like to see how you tracked your wires from the engine bay through to the leisure battery. I can't work out how to do it without taking the whole dash off!

      you can just take the rubber flooring down by the passangers feet(under the glovebox)

    Did you store the leisure battery under the passenger seat?

      It was stored, behind the passenger seat yes :)

    I think first fuse should be as close as possible to starter battery and switch after that, but I might be wrong :)

      From memory, i think you are right. But we never had issues with that set up.

    Great job ! How old is your caddy ? Does it have a smart alternator? I'm just starting the conversion of a 2015 caddy maxi with blue motion technology and I'm not sure a Split Charge relay would work :/

      i dont think split charge works with smart alternator

    What amperage fuse did you put in between the batteries

    • @daniandjoanna
      @daniandjoanna  4 года назад +2

      It's 125amp fuse, and the cable is rated for 140amp. It all came together in a 5mtr kit we got from eBay

    Hey there, really good videos on your Caddy project!!!
    I am currently converting the same year Caddy too, I know you mentioned that you won't show the wiring of the battery into the engine bay on the video - However, how did you manage to route it?
    Through the glove compartment/handbrake cover? Is there an entrance through the bulkhead?
    Many thanks,

      Hi, it's very easy. Take the battery off and you will see a rubber grommet right behind it , run the cable trought there then it comes out by the passengers foot well, then you run it however you want I have mind on the side by the passenger's door. Hope that helps
