    I have a test tomorrow over log and graphing that along with exponential and everything, and we only spent one day on exponential. Never again, so this explained to me how I can graph it. Thanks so much.
    a>1 with a positive x = growth
    a>1 with a negative x = decay
    0

      Also a negative x is equivalent to a reflection over the y-axis which is why it becomes decay or growth (opposite of the original). (((:

      Oh and so the reason we don't have x-axis reflection is because the a value cannot be negative...? Something like that.. I don't know. But I got it now. Just explaining it to myself. (((:

    what about y = (4.3)^x? if you put that in a chart with -1, the answer would be 1/4.3, but you cant put a fraction over a fraction..?

    I love your videos. On this particular video it would have been more helpful had you used actual graph paper. I used graph paper and I got the same results, but I thought it would make your explanations more clear if actual graph paper could be used to show the coordinates better.

    Isn't writing 0 to infinity wrong for the domain? y cannot be 0, I would have thought y>0 would be a more accurate statement?
