It takes a year or so to get these games up to speed developing the assets for characters models considering this is next gen Tenkaichi is gunna take some time to create the models and maps for the game 6 to 7 months for models and stages and designs. I'll say 2024 in October the fall. And then another half a year to polish this game.
Don’t expect that big roster since that game was heavily imported from previous titles. Hopefully we get something around 60 but the combat is even deeper and more complex, which I’m sure it will
i think it’s likely going to be a reboot rather then a sequel to 3 that way the devs can slack on the attention to detail that was in the originals and just make some different shit that’s more convenient to them
Something I don’t see people talking about much is having a good animated intro for the game, not cg or in game, actual animation done by toei and I want it to be made in the same quality as the ultimate tenkaichi intro with a fire bgm for it as well.
Even BETTER would be if they could get Hironobu Kageyama back to sing the intro song! The songs he sang for games like the Raging Blast games, Burst Limit, and Budokai series are absolute CLASSICS, and I would *LOVE* to hear his golden voice for another game intro to pump me up again!

Game is still in early development under the code name Budokai Tenkaichi Zero. based on the preview, the background looks like it was done in Unreal Engine and/or pulled from Jump Force. Which makes me believe that Spike-Chunsoft is the company in charge of development. Since Spike was the company who developed the first 3 Budokai Tenkaichi games, it would only make since that Spike Chunsoft would develop this one. We can only pray that it's not another Jump Force failure.

Budokai tech 3 is one of the best dragon ball games but Budokai 3 also was up there but kakarot has the best so far I just want dlcs for that. I'm tired of the xenoiverse getting a hundred of them. The terrible graphics and terrible transformations at least kakarot transformations are somewhat cool and if they add kakoien x20 or at least unmastered ultra instinct I would be happy as hell until this game comes out kakarot just needs black Goku or tournament power ark and I would be happy until this game comes out

There were leaks from 2021 that a “manga” game was in the works but no one is sure if they were referring to bt4
