If I ever wanted to show someone who had no experience with conventions what a con was like I would absolutely send them to your videos- You capture the energy and true experience so well!! @skyhandlr hey! i'm that nezuko. i actually have invisible disabilities and spent 5 days after the convention violently ill! i almost had a medical emergency on the con floor as well! it's taken years of medical intervention for me to weigh this much, and during high school, i was so underweight(due to my conditions) that i spent 8 weeks in the hospital and almost died! while my current weight may seem like a "privilege" my paralyzed stomach, failing pancreas, and underactive hormones/deficiencies have made it extremely difficult to get where i am now. thin does not equal good, and it's rather inappropriate to comment on a body you know nothing about :)

I didn’t go to Otakon this year so I have a few questions. Were there tons of stuff to buy in the dealers room? Like manga, plushies, pins, figures, posters, video games, etc. And did the movie STARISH tours air since there were a lot of idols at the masquerade? I saw the masquerade online.
Of course there was tons of stuff to purchase! They had everything covered! haha I don’t know the answer to your second question though! 😅
That’s ok. And thank goodness that there was a lot of stuff to buy. I wasn’t sure because I saw that there was a lot of space. And more people went to the Artist Alley more than the Dealers Room.

Wish there were labels for the merchants as well as the cosplayers. Some of the artwork and merchandise shown looked amazing but not all of them had notable signage to search them by.
