I cheered for Slovaks in their match against Canada. Unfortunately, Canada played much better, but Slovaks didn't give up, it was still a good fight. Hlavaj is an excellent goaltender.
Yeah we love hockey here and the prices for tickets, while not exactly cheap, are not exorbitant. But so many fans also makes the ice a bit bad, poor players especially in Ostrava, we should focus on this, next time it might be a perfect tournament for everyone involved.

Congratulations to the czech team. This dominacne just shows that group A was the way stronger group this year. Even the strong Swedes struggled against the way weakest contender from group A who lost every single game against the other 3 topnations from group A. With a powerful game like this, the Swedes will have a really hard time against you. Go Czechia!
Sweden outplayed Finns defensive hockey but couldnt score. Normally Russia should have been in that group so it makes a huge difference on groups also Slovakia are not as good they once were and today they are weaker then Switzerland and Germany. Switz are also much stronger then Finland in this tournament and can be included as the big if they continue produce good players too NHL, so there are atleast 5 teams that are hard too beat. In other group its not more then 2-3 that can give the best teams a real game.
Honestly we always tend to struggle against Sweden. I can tell you Canada, Russia, Finland, anyone we would gladly take over Sweden to play against. But last time we won gold we beat them in the semifinals, so...
