    Q_g=(4.45E_p VI)/(πR^2 ) exp{-4.5{(r_x)^2/R^2)+(r_y^2)/R^2}}
    please suggest me how to write this equation on comsol .
    I try to add this expression in global definition but it's showing error .
    Please help if possible

      First, define the parameters in the global parameters lists, that is, define R,r_x, etc. The multiplication and division are the same as in MATLAB. Tip, first write a simplified expression, and see if you have some issues, and then slowly add layer by layer of complexity. You can also watch this video:
