Какой размер вашей головы и какой размер шлема вы купили? Я купил точно такой же, взял XL при размере головы 60, но сделал ошибку, надо было брать XXL. Сейчас вот думаю, что придется покупать ещё один. А так, шлем отличный. Правда при скорости 90 км/ч шлем начинает задираться вверх. Вообщем всем кто хочет этот шлем купить, берите на размер больше, тогда он будет сидеть на голове глубоко и удобно.
Indeed I choose safety over looks. I will get lots of bumps and bruises with a great percentage of surviving possibilities. Just be wise when selecting gear protection.
Awesome video on the review of this helmet. I am becoming a beginner biker at 54 and going to get my bike license. I am looking to get one of these helmets. Saving my money to buy a Harley Davidson BLACK color Iron 883 and this helmet would look and feel great as well as feeling safe also. Again great review God bless.
Loved my 883, I got rid of it to get money towards another bike and to move. I have a road king now but casual riding the 883 was so light and nimble it was perfect. Don’t let other’s pressure you into thinking you need to trade up ride what you like
@@ROADKING97_ Thanks, I was looking hard at a lot of bikes but the Iron 883 caught my eye, Beautiful bike and not too big and not too small, just right and enough power for me. I also love the classic Harley look of the 883. Can't wait to get it then going to take the motorcycle course to get my license.
I can say the Daytona equivalent is a major mushroom head! I just bought Crazy Al’s Germanator, I’ve been wearing their SOA helmet. I haven’t tried the German one yet…I’m concerned the wind will push it back off my head. I’m trying it out tomorrow if it doesn’t rain!!! Great review
@@highlifegoodlife5400 , Yes! It does catch the wind…I tried putting a chin strap to help keep it down. I noticed slight improvement. I love the German Helmet look, but I’ve had to relegate it to town riding. 😕
Well thank you saved me 100$ or more buying it I got a nice one off Amazon for half the price but wind trys rip it off my head going fast. I noticed if I have a beanie on or rag tied to head it helps alot. Was just gonna buy a more expensive one but if that one does it too then there's no point.
Does the soa stay on better ? When going fast. May try one of those but so far been wearing full faced helmet I don't like wind trying to rip helmet off thats no fun. Amazon german style just for around town I guess
One thing i would like to add, as someone who deals a lot with old military and civil services helmets from all over the world, please use purpose built reproductions like this as biker helmets and not original military/firefighter helmets, they are not only not protecting you, but may infact be more dangerous in a crash then no helmet at all. An example coming to mind are the german "M34" firefighter helmets which were sometimes converted to biker helmets in germany in the 70s, which had a habit of getting caught on the pavement and turning a harmless slide with roadrash into a snapped neck and fatal accident

This helmet is just like a novelty, feels really cheap. The inside literally looks like a skateboard helmet. Not a motorcycle helmet. Also they are made in China under slave labor. Then sold to us in the U.S for ten times the price.
It's not perfect but it is probably the best out there. I wonder if you're better off buying an actual German military helmet and modifying it for riding.
I highly recomed against it. For one they are very expensive (can be anywhere between 200 in bad condition up to countless thousands of USD when semi decent) but they also do not offer any legitimate protection.
I ain’t gone lie to ya. Around 60 plus if feels like your heads gonna rip off and the straps dig into your jaws but that’s most half helmets plus I don’t have a windshield on my bike either so 🤷🏻♂️
2 weeks ago i was doin about 80 somethin n a deer ran out on me at 4am. I hit the brake, went sliding screeching about 30 feet n somehow i stayed up. Whew🤏 i thought i was gonna go down then the rear started fish tailing.

I just bought one and took it on a ride today. It does indeed catch the wind and fly off the back of my head at 60+ mph. I thought I was the only one.

Yeah you can buy novelty helmets with literally no padding at all and not DOT approved so it’s just a thin plastic shell
