OMG just look at Shanggu expression! Her face showed all kind of emotions. My breath literally stopped from Bai Jue’s eyes and Shanggu’s face. I don’t know how many times I rewatched this scene already, probably almost hundred ;)

This drama was just amazing and mesmerizing. I just love the cast and cgi effects. Hope this drama becomes a hit. OSTs are just perfect with perfect voice and meaning.
Xu Kai (BaiJue, BoXuan, QingMu) : His acting was just mind-blowing an commendable. 👍👍First time saw him acting as cold and arrogant which just impressed me like anything😍😍😍. BaiJue had a different and amazing aura around him. Seeing him fall in love❤❤ was so sweet.
BoXuan was damn caring. He finally got a chance to raise her which he missed in previous life. 😇😇
QingMu was cutest, especially when he chased HouChi and proposing. He was quite funny.😂😂
Zhou Dong You (ShangGu, HouChi) : She was very impressive. Just hat's off to her. Her smile is the best thing. I just love her genuine smile.😊😊 Many people said she isn't the perfect for this role and said her smile was unnecessary and stupid. First of all she was damn fit for this role and second those people were just jealous as they don't have such a pretty smile. 🤷🤷Even though it was her first historical drama (I guess so) she did amazing job. And I am sure she will bring such good works for us. Rather than giving negative comments, just don't comment to demoralize her. It may hurt her. As it was her first time so obviously she will take some time to get a grip of it. After all nobody is born perfect. Just remember she is also a human being. She has different abilities. Nobody is same as the other. I also don't like many actors but rather than giving them a negative comment I just ignore them. It's better than hurting them and discouraging them. People giving suggestions is a different thing from negative comments.
ShanGu was childish, a bit of stupid, little bit foolish too but it was cute. Her expressions were just perfect including her charming smile.
HouChi was damn smart and mature to trap anyone in her words.
She did both the roles pretty good.
Liu Xue Yi (TianQi) : He was really playful 🤣🤣and an amazing second lead. He never hurt her even though she turned him down. He just cute role with lots of funny scenes.
Lu Peng (ZiHan) : He was supportive and a funny character who would always flatter his master. But didn't expect him to die. 🤣🤣
Luo Qiu Yun (YueMi) : She is the bestest friend I always wish I had with whom I could share everything and she would help me👭👭. I wanted her to come back. 😢😢
Li Ze Feng (ZhiYang) : I felt sad for him as he wasn't even to old to be called old 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣but he was always taken as the oldest man. I love the scene where he traps BaiJue in teaching ShangGu. 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Zhang Xiao Chen ( XuanYi) : He is the smartest😎😎 villain I have ever seen. He was always 2 steps ahead of them but just didn't expect he would still die. 🤷
Lai Yi (GuJun) : He was the only loyal person. Best disciple an best dad. I really respect him from the bottom of my heart. Just love his role.
Zhang Jia Ni (WuHuan) : At the beginning she really made me love😍 her and afterwards she made me hate😡 her to the core. This proves she is a good actor who can make you love her or hate her. I must admit she was the smartest person. 🙇🙇
Fu Xin Bao (MuGuang) : He was the stupidest 🤦🤦among all. He always covered for her. His love ❤❤towards her was true like crystal. He didn't deserve to die. 😢
Zhong Qi (JingZhao) : She was mad in love which would never come. 🤦My first impression of her was that she is really😍😍 good looking. Really hope to see her as a main role. She was just a bit of fool and stupid who always wanted to win like her mother. Just the difference was that she wanted love and her mother wanted power.
Zhang Ya Qin (FengRan) : She bit like YueMi, an amazing friend and loved gossiping. Although she was damn cool while fighting. 😎😎
Zhang Yun Long (JingJian) : He was the honest 😇😇and smartest 😎character in the whole series. I just loved how true he was.😍👏👏
They all were amazing and fantastic. Hope to see them soon with another superb drama 👏👏👏
I just request that everyone should watch or drop the drama only when they are not satisfied with the story and trailer. Don't judge it based on comments and actors. We all have different preferences and taste which should not be affected by other things. I personally have watched many dramas which in which I never liked the actor but the story. So please!! 🙏🙏

GOSH I REALLY AGREE WITH YOUR LAST PARAGRAPH (Sorry you just type so mny and I just read last one)but yeah,i really agree,I wonder why the rate for this drama was really low i shocked but then when I read the comments they said due to the actor acting and the girl are not beauty enough (I was like what the heck?)and even some of them only watch ep1 then judge this drama aren't good enough!i was like hey can u just finish up the drama then give rate?how can you give a low rate by just watching EP1 or even not finished ep1?.. mostly Chinese do tht i was so disappointed....they really dont not worth for this kind of drama...for me if i will ignore the actor but i more care about storyline and the acting which both of them really act well .....

Shangu is PERFECT FOR HER ROLE. She did great in bringing the character to life. Bai Jue and her have very great chemistry.

I am so happy this drama turns out to be beautiful. The first part was abit of a drag but later it gets better and better. Ending is perfect, leaving me wanting more for their family reunion scenes. Wish they had some bonus scenes :(
It would be really great to have a second season with Yuanqi ( their kid ) , played by Xu Kai cause they look alike 😉 , and what happens when he has to face the tribulation of chaos (since he's Shangu's son) and if he will meet his Shangu . And also the reincarnation of Jing Jian meeting Feng Ren is still pending.And we need more info on Dohua , that guy is still a bit misterous 🤔. And please show this Ancestral God guy, always sleeping in that ringed stone , thank God he did some good at last😒. And a reincarnation of Yumei for our poor Tianqi🥺.

This touched my heart 😭 this one of the best series i have ever watched, I'm begging for season 2
at 01:00, i finally understand why i love the instrumental of this song because it made me feel nostalgic. found out that that section was similar to the"firework festival" instrumentals from the "weathering with you" anime movie. i'm ecstatic that they truly fit the feeling of longing and miraculously getting back what they lost. ugh, so emotional right now.

This drama is amazing the actin, the special effects, the clothes, the actors are amazing and beautiful. And this drama need to be watched carefully, otherwise it can be hard to understand what happened an why. My language is not Chinese, so I had to read the subtitles, but many times I couldn't finish reading sentences ( which is important to understand the story) so, sometimes I had to change the speed of the video from normal to slow.
Xiu Kai always plays plays in good dramas.

BTW, the OSTs in this drama was the cherry on top. The only time I actually appreciated the subs of the songs. Cuz, most of the time they use the same songs in different scenes but somehow, it always works? Like other dramas only the melody will match but here even the lyrics. Insane!

My most fav character is tianqi...he is funny , cute and admirable. But I really feel bad for him...he loved shanggu honestly but he didn't get her still he is very loyal to shanggu and houchi and the one who loved him died....he is really pitiful...
