I, a German, got confused there for a second...
I as an African American was also confused.
@@Dizzykitty817 my history friend calls this type of stuff “white nostalgia”.
@@IgnacioCheese Actually the wealth gap between White people and Black people was significantly lower back then
@@Dizzykitty817northern blacks were essentially on par with whites in the 50s, and growing much faster than whites at that. A few years after the civil rights act the gap became larger and larger

I got a poodle skirt…I love it SO MUCH- and I look good in it too :)
For homecoming the theme is 1950s, and from a few years back I have a poodle skirt from another dance
The fashion this era was so simple and pretty.
i am absolutely in LOVE with 'the new look'
I'm still convinced the 1920's is the best fashion decade in history.
For real
1950s on top ok

"Coco Chanel decided to come out of hiding and reclaim my title as a fashion top dog" yeah instead of a nazi spy🤡
LMAO right?! I was about to say "And why did Chanel have to go into hiding?" It's a cute look, but what a wicked person.
ThanQ
I was gonna say this if someone hasn't already.
A stark contrast to Dior who served in the French army before being demobilised in 42
Who’s coco Chanel
I am in love with the outfit you are wearing in the very beginning!!
you should totally cover the 1890s!!
do u mean 1990s?
@@afraidto nope, I ment 1890s
She would rock dress to impress
I would love a 40s one or 30s!
Those eras were ideal for women with ugly legs who wanted to cover them up with long skirts.
STOP SHE CAN TALK FASTER THEN MY DAD GETTING THE MILK😭
Does that joke even work? The idea is that she talks fast but dads going out to get milk and never returning is them being slow?
@kuobah yeah people just use 'edgy' jokes to sound cool and edgy nowadays lol
The Chanel cardigan suit is giving Elle Woods, and I support a queen like that.
I love finding stuff that is so random but helpful to me.
