are you sure the tile width and height will be multiplication of upscale size and image width/height? this way if i try to upscale image of resolution 1K and want it to upscale to 4k, the tile sizze will be 4k, however what i understand tile size to be a portion of total image i.e. 1/4th or 1/8th. not sure thought about how that tile diffusion works?
This puzzle seems not designed for noobs like me, but I still found it challenging to understand.. I got this error: VAEEncode Tiled Calculated padded input size per channel: (2 x 2). Kernel size: (3 x 3). Kernel size can't be greater than actual input size
what if I don't want to upscale, I want to apply tiled diffusion to generate a new image based on prompt and controlnet depth (my input picture is very wide)
mhm.... i didnt have derfuu nodes, so i pick up something else with 'integer' in name.... long story short...to make it work, installed derfuu's ... :D
Are jou sure you uploaded the correct forkflow to your patreon (great that it is free by the way). Im running a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and have loaded all the same models. Instantly crashes it I put the intager above 1, and if I leave it at 1 (not upscaling) does somewhat inpove skintones but also gives people 3 buttocks or bizzare herinated cheeks. so not remotely working as you have stated
I didn't download from the Patreon (honestly i forgot to check it) but i followed the instuctions in the video and it works well, it doesn't really "add" detail but it does preserve the original image well. But I am running at 95% VRAM usage on a 3090 (24GB) so maybe for smalleer cards you'd need to decrease the tile sizes to maybe 256.
It is, if you try with upscale with model 4X , 500 frames, lets see if your pc can handle this. 11gb vram maybe is so much for your setup, but it is nothing for me.

Got it working, again good job man!

Nice, Simple and easy to run
Yup, I have use tile upscale. Then 2nd pass with lanet upscale 1.5X, then upscale with model. Good to combine this for landscape image.
Wow , that must be a big one 👍
I think this is like Latent Upscale.
Thanks for the tip and tricks

Is this better than UltimateSDUpscale with less seam issues and less blurry effect?
It doesn’t work for me, there are no errors, but the output is black square
All black for me too.
"Integer" node, try changing value "3" to "2".
Seems like this dosn't work with controlnet union.
How did you get those straight lines between nodes?
Click the gear icon in ComfyUI manager, in setting
Does this work for humans or with other objects or scenery too?
It should work for everything.
Thanks
Welcome

this takes 11gb of vram for me to upscale 2x from 768x768 picture. The results are okay but I thought you said it was vram friendly lol
