6 Month Diet Bet Winnings -

I just finished up a 6-month diet bet transformer challenge. It's an app where you essentially bet on yourself to lose a certain amount of weight - in this case 10% of your body weight over the course of 6 months. Those who don't meet their goals lose their bets and their loss is split amongst the winners.
After meeting all my goals, my total profit is $160. Not a bad return for a $200 investment!
I used $55 of that to purchase a new Mario game for my collection. I'm attempting to collect EVERY Mario game across all systems for "net zero dollars." Check out my #Mariomania playlist for more!

….. you can’t count that as zero cost just because you happened to make money before you bought it….? That’s how almost every person buys things… Are all my expenses now zero cost because I have income coming in?

That's a fair pov. By that logic none of my games would be zero cost since I usually buy the games in bundles first and make money when selling the non Mario games. Which takes a decent amount of work.
I actually normally say "net zero dollars" in most of my Mario Mania vids which may make more sense.
It's not how I'm going to be getting more games in the future. It was just a reward for sticking to my goals.
