I agree with #1-3, but would never recommend Naples or Milan. Milan is very expensive & Naples has the worst crime. Why not some other smaller towns like Arezzo, Siena, Lucca (although it can be more expensive & is bigger), etc. I've been researching towns throughout Italy for 2 years & like places that are smaller. Many of them have the history, the arts & festivals, cheaper cost of living, medical care & hospitals, recreation & spas. They also offer closer community feel. But that is my opinion. I'm looking at Chieti in Abruzzo, Castiglione del Lago in Umbria, Sansepolcro in Tuscany, Fivizzano in Tuscany and a few more towns. People need to do research to meet their needs & desires in a place to live & there are many RUclips videos by former US & UK residents that have moved to Italy & they share advice & experiences.
This video is so unrealistic and stupid that they inserted the American Trenton instead of the Italian Trento. Pffff... What a pity that the dislikes on RUclips were removed. And who in their right mind can recommend Milan for retirement?? Gosh

Thanks for the info.
I want to retire in Sardegna next year. I’m just not sure yet if in Olbia or Cagliari. Do you have any insider information about Sardegna?
... And Puglia along with Abruzzo are regions in Italy and not cities!
Please clean up your pronunciation of the Italian cities and other words.
For Christ sake learn how to say the names of Italian cities, and it is the leaning tower of Pisa not the learning tower.
Was driving me crazy too.
i love puglia, i trulli .
That's Trenton, New Jersey they show, not Trento, Italy. ROTFLMFAO
Yeah for real! Trenton Makes, the world takes. Lmao
Doubled! That is how much Italy increased tax on foreign income for new residents.
This is not affordable. Also, I don't know where the research was done, but it's a lot more affordable.
