I got my first ex within a month (v1 Roger) and my first boost 3 ex after 6 months (oni Zoro) and now that it’s been a year I have about 4 EX units. Honestly if you spend enough time in the game, use good units that fit your gameplay style, you’ll fly to SS rank and get those big 50 shards along with the shards in the events, they’re a huge help. But I really learnt that sometimes it’s better to invest in other units that aren’t EX for consistency sake, my Zoro thrives through every meta since his release but I’d have an easier time with newer units like dark rayley, so I’ve been investing into other units

@@Sanji-OPBR. okay so apparently you're in the dark as well about it, that's okay. reroll is basically restarting the game, on a brand new account (especially when there's a brand new EX banner out like now) and try pulling on the banner until you get the EX unit, you can keep rerolling until you get the EX unit you want, once you've successfully get it then you start the game. it's easier that way! you can look it up on RUclips about rerolling for more info good luck! xo

@@Sanji-OPBR. ss, i main 4 emperor shanks/soba mask sanji. I started a new acc btw but idk I will play competitive the game is already extremely grindy and as a f2p getting the first ex on pure luck takes months plus a lots of hackers and dum teammates and bandai seems not to care, OPBR is a waste of potential.
btw getting your first ex is very hard only use gems on big events I got my first ex in a month cuz of a big event that guaranteed an ex
