i am so happy that i had the pleasure of visiting these statues in Grenada, it was so unbelievably beautiful,

Es ist so traurig. Das Video regt zum denken an. Dort unten, im Wasser ist es so still und hier oben... Wie diese menschenartigen Skulpturen einfach da sind und sind wie sie sind. Es ist mit dem Einklang der Musik kaum in Worte zu fassen, wie mich das Video berührt. Danke^^

We have to make an effort to change our practices or the coral reefs will be completely wiped out, Jason is right. Once that happens the species that depend on these reefs for survival will be negatively affected leading to a chaotic chain reaction in the food chain and the natural tide and balance that supports us all. Sadly, the time that those with blind eyes see is only then when their directly affected, when the damage is done, irreversible and its to late. What Jason deCaires Taylor is doing is not only an artistic act of mercy upon these creatures that share a common right to living existence as you and I do but he is doing everything in his human power simultaneously to combat the process of coral reef destruction that humankind has already begun.

@GraGraGK Artist Jason deCaires Taylor created the Moliniere Bay underwater sculpture garden to help restore the bay's ecosystem a few years after Hurricane Ivan wiped it out in 2004, creating an artificial reef.

throwing ships, statues and other stuff into the oceans helps coral reefs to grow, that's not littering as long as it's free of toxic substances

@EazyRun Yes, but what can i do? I am not the fisherman, who can decide against that practice. For climate change i can live vegan, or use the bike in place of car. We can refurbish our houses und use solar energy, but what can i do for these coral-reefs? It isn't a popular topic of NGO's.

@EazyRun do u know movies like "Earthlings", "The Cove", "Home" or something like that? They make people angry, when they see the violence and oppression. If u watch these films there is no way to give up hope and do nothing. Take compassion and boycott injustice. U could do something, show people movies like this, do some street art, demonstrate, change your lifestyle, be aktiv in communitys. Im not happy if i only feel better MY way. Egoism is one thing brings earth death.
