  • Nice evening fishing at Portmuck after the recent storms! Everywhere else was weeded out so this was the only clear spot I could find! Audio is getting better, some mistakes learned as ever, fishing and filming!

Last year? You got that nice sized pollock out the honey hole right at your feet?

Enjoying your videos, iam not long at the fishing game and was wondering if there were any marks that i might try that are not top secret. I am nearly 70 years old but still able to scramble over the rocks if necessary. Keep up the good work as its good to see some local stuff.

Thank you for the comment, glad you're enjoying the videos! Only been fishing myself a couple years, so still learning a lot of the local marks. Portmuck has usually fished well for me, as has Glenarm beach. All depends what you want to go for. A lot of it comes down to right bait, right hook size, favourable conditions and a bit of luck! Best thing to do is use Google maps to check out the area you are interested in to get an idea of access etc. Tight lines!

Hi! Yes I have tried around the back and got some good sized wrasse there just off the steps. Also gets too many people jumping off the rocks or kayaking across your lines! Lovely place though. Tight lines

You should give the glenarrife pier a try if you have the time. You can get some good coalfish off the side of the walls.
