I think the idea is to have the magnet on the outside of your shirt, it makes for a neater set up as a pose to a bulky mic attached to you on show

actually, he's fine. the point is that on T-shirts, there's no way to clip the mic except at the collar which is too close. so the magclip lets you clip it further away from the body. putting it on the inside of the T-shirt is fine but you lose some audio quality. If you really want discreet, you should get a lavalier mic.

Dude, I cobbled up transmitter suspender (necklace) for my Rode Go II for zero.!!! Simple. 2 6in strips belt webbing material, 2 20in lengths nylon cord, 2 nylon cord locks. form a 1in loop at one end of webbing, fasten with hot glue, thread nylon cord through the loop. Attach the chord locks. Done. Clip transmitter to top of the webbing loop, mic is now facing up. Lower transmitter inside your shirt to desired height. Lock the nylon cord with cord locks. Zero Cost. 🎥 👍

Very good video, but the idea is just the opposite. The magnetic clip works to hide the transmitter inside the shirt without it hanging from the shirt collar, avoiding that kind of sloppy look.

Very bizarre purchasing a product not knowing it’s intended use is to hide the mic under the shirt.
