I stayed here in May and liked it so much I am staying there again when I head to Bangkok at the end of October. They did not have the breakfast area running when I was there last, had to go out and across to the neighboring hotel for the breakfast. So convenient to the BTS and all sorts of things to do just on Soi 11.
Thanks for the comment. You can't go far wrong at his place. If you liked it without the breakfast you'll love it including the breakfast because the choice and quality is really good!
I think soi 11 or 11/1 are probably my go to places In BKK. Although I think i have done a few other sois opposite and along from it too. Great location.
I don't think you can go far wrong with soin11. Some of my favourite restaurants are on there. Also soi 13 and the Sportsman has taken plenty of my baht on Premier League football nights!
lovely hotel, and what an awesome upgrade!, worth booking for one or two nights just for a treat, the only thing i didn't notice was a balcony, but no biggie for a short break
Thanks, Tony. Yes, massive picture window in place of the outside wall but no balcony whatsoever. I did check to see if the window opened, but it didn't. Probably for the best :-))
Olives with your beer is a new one! Very luxurious hotel. The breakfast choices looked fantastic. Coffee pods are the way to go. Always nice to see some chocolates, back in my hotel staying days I remember eating a Toblerone or 2 at the exorbitant prices hotels charge. Thai ladies would be very impressed with that room....loom BC! 555
Thanks, Ric. Have to admit, I'd prefer salted popcorn or peanuts, really. Breakfast was definitely well above average. I believe every hotel should have a pod coffee maker in the room. It impresses me anyway!
I stayed years ago in the grand president which were serviced apartments. Are they gone and this replaced them. i recall they were on both sides of soi 11
Yeah, let's meet up there next time you're over. And Soi 13 has The Sportsman for watching all the Villa games! (You remember where we watched the Leeds game...)
This is a very nice hotel option. Basically Hilton standard without the pricing. Obviously, this was not the standard room and an upgrade cannot be guaranteed. However, it is worth keeping in mind in venturing to the capital.
Thanks, David. Yes, a really good hotel. Now whether they gave me an upgrade because I was holding a camera or despite me holding a camera, I'll never know. I'm guessing the latter!
Yes, BB it was top class. I did ask if it was guest friendly and I'm still awaiting their reply. Will update on here when they tell me. Given the Soi I'm expecting a 'yes' answer! Airavata is the "king of elephants" and has 7 trunks, which I guess trumps Nellie's one. Trump, trump, trump.
Oh my. Just like the Amethyst, yet another hotel with 4 bottles of water and not the standard 2 bottles. Clearly I have stayed the wrong hotels all my life 55555
Any hotel with a decent coffee machine and 4 bottles of water should be awarded 5* status without any further discussion! I needed those 4 bottles on this trip! Thanks for the comment!
I think I have found the hotel I will be staying when I come to Thailand next year. Thanks for your review!💪🏾🇺🇸
My pleasure . I don't think you'll be disappointed!

What the best way to get to the Aira hotel from BKK airport. Have 2 pieces of luggage.
If it's me, I'd take a grab taxi. Here's my recent update! ruclips.net/user/shortskSUcCCSeUGk?si=HbrOTpbpuTolrbvP
@@balloonchaser Thanks a lot. Very Helpful.
@saleemjessani3826 My pleasure
Great review man thanks. Im going in a few days and i think this is the winner

Many thanks, Jorge, for the positive feedback. I'm sure you'll love it!

Hello BC I am going to Khon Kaen for couple of week. Any hotel recommendations if you have been there. Thanks
Hi. Gotta be honest, I've never been to Khon Kaen 😞 Let me know how you get on there. If it's good, I might pay it a visit! Have a great trip 👍

The grand president Hotel is still directly opposite (looks like same owners), so maybe this has replaced the apartments. It only opened last year!
Staying there from Saturday and a week ahead. Looking forward to it
I'm sure you'll have a great time there, Kasper! Let us know what you think about it 👍
Wow a great hotel in a great Soi. UTV

My pleasure, Rashid. Hope it's useful to you.
I will definitely stay here when I visit in August, September. I have marked it no 1
Thanks, Gerry. Have a great trip! You'll love this hotel I think!

Love this location.
Agreed. Certainly near some great restaurants and music!
Wouldn't stay any other Soi in BKK, Soi 11 is spot on.
I agree, Jeff. Soi 11 has just about everything I need, including being a great location!
real class, good job you didn't take Mr. Egg. Was it guest friendly ? Named after an elephant, surely the most famous is 'Nellie'.

Hotel have replied to confirm that there's no charge for guests in the room, but they must register at reception. Seems OK!

Guest fiendly ?
Seemed to be, yes.
3000bahts too much😅😅😅
Starting price next month on Agoda is 2500. Prices seem to vary a lot depending on whether high or low season. Thanks.
