LIFE IN JAPAN | Day trip to Kamakura and Enoshima

Three weeks after moving to Japan we decided to do a day trip to Kamakura and Enoshima to celebrate Golden Week. It was a big mistake.
Golden Week is a week during which there are several consecutive public holidays, so people tend to take the whole week off. And that means that basically everyone is on holiday and looking to do something fun - we were not the only people who headed to Kamakura, which is at a convenient 1hr distance from Tokyo.
