@@LethalWalou Na. When I said a couple of months, I just assumed Mary watched it a while ago and had it up on her Patreon before posting it here. I already knew the new season starts in January. I don't have her Patreon so I don't know how long of a wait it is from going up there then coming here. Some Patreon folks I do watch, they have months of content on Patreon before putting it here. For example Diagesis just posted GOT season 2 episode 4 on RUclips but they are on Season 4 episode 7 on Patreon. I am happy the wait is almost over.

It had this same kind of shocking/cliffhanger ending. It had a pretty long wait for season 2 as well. That wait was pure agony and I learned never to stress too much about such things again. This 3 years of wait was thus luckily not a big deal.
The Overtime Contingency is the same thing Milchick used to wake Dylan’s innie up at home. That’s why Dylan learned he has a kid for the first time. It’s like waking up the innie when they go down the elevator to the severed floor, except it’s outside Lumon, so the innie has no knowledge of their outie’s life and vice versa.
When Rebeck says she has sores on the back of her head from her bird I think she has been severed without knowing. Also, Irving’s dog being named Radar is a connection from when Miss Casey told him he likes the sound of radar.
omg it never occurred to me that that was anything other than funny character stuff about rebeck. i hope you're right because that would mean we see more of her in s2.
I watched this show for the first time just a few months ago, when a friend of mine suggested I would *really* love it. So we watched it together (for him, a rewatch before season 2), and it was so up my alley! I'd throw theories at my friend and he was polite and restrained enough to keep his lips sealed.

This show is pretty unique... But it has some media prequels. Most notably I'd say the movie 'Paycheck' based on a book by Philip K Dick (yes, of course him!) Would be nice to check that one out. It's got Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman as stars.
i think she was just talking about being severed so she doesn't have to go through the pain of childbirth, rather than like for actually raising her kids. i could be wrong though, now that you say it i see the ambiguity. i think my version is the most horrifying though bc it means that her innie's entire experience of life is just giving birth repeatedly.
Hopefully just birth. Can you imagine giving birth and than the next time you see your child is a few days later but just for a few hours to nurse and to give your outie a break. That's diabolical.
And now we know why Ellie's outie was so hell bent on keeping her inside. She's presumably the next in line to be CEO. Her innie is trying to take down her company and her legacy. Somehow the next two weeks are going to feel longer than the past 3 years. Especially because the episodes come out weekly.
Maybe in a very different reading circle, with less words and more colours. She was literally holding the baby while they were looking at each other and in that hurry he was in.. he really took a while to get there. Also se was missing, not presumed dead so it would be a senseless response. And then there's the picture he's holding. So yes, they may use a second to go through that in a form of a question just for you and yours but no actual time will be wasted for such nonsense. They just needed a reason for the picture and the run and also to ramp it all up in that moment. It's not an actual thing that actual people (in story or out of it) would bother themselves with at all. :0
I think it was the opposite, they didn't have a script for season 2, so it took so long to make it. And it worried me, because usually show like this end with nothing being explained at all or very poorly. First comes cool idea, then come not so cool ideas to tie everything together for the show to end. Anyway, let's hope for the great season 2 and thanks for watching season 1, Mary! It was a blast!
They said they had the whole story for it. Only small stuff was inserted on the go, like the goats, for which they found an explanation. The reason for the long wait was Covid and actor and writers strike.
Actually one of the best episodes of TV ever
The good news is you only have a couple of months to wait as opposed to everyone else who had to wait for ALMOST 3 years.
