Can't even think straight now...I've heard the HornLine warm up with the closing of this piece and I was completely amazed at that sound. After watching a BecauseofCrown video, I got to see what show it came from...MIND = BLOWN! Hearing the familiar strains with the DrumLine was nothing short of me sitting on the floor in a corner and sucking on my thumb! I don't tear up...I cry - which is an improvement of the blubbering fool I was when I first heard the warm-up with It Is. I can't stop the tears from starting, and it's still difficult in getting them to stop when I think about "the money chord," but it still starts. Maybe I shouldn't do that, though, as it's as much a joyous release as, well...I can't say that here. EDIT: I forgot to mention the "slo-burn crescendo"...wish it could have been held out another 2 or 3...MINUTES!!!! :)
@@jesuspectre9883 It Is is a DCI production of Carolina Crown titled It Is... that's a best as I can tell you. Their horn line, IMHO, is second to none in the DCI world (Matt Harloff is GOLD for them). If that's what you were wondering about, I hope I cleared that up. If it's the music (opener), it's Tocata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach. You might not recognize that name, as the excerpt they are playing is near the end of the piece. The name you might recognize is Phantom of the Opera... that is the music he plays, the entire piece, at the pipe organ. I hope this helps.
@@jesuspectre9883 regrettably...we're both on the same page. I know all the music has a connective thread, but I don't know what that thread is... other than AWESOME...LOL
@@Rainmaker65 The music has no thread tying it together. The number "For Good" from the musical Wicked had nothing to do with the theme of "deconstruction" and made no sense. Beautifully played and sung.
okay, look... you're not wrong but im working on getting the cd audio up, and secondly it doesn't say quality it says finals, which this is the raw finals audio :\
Such a shame the vocalist had audio problems during the finals run. Really great show in my opinion and should've been placed higher
I'll never heard little fugue in the same way again, the hammer chord on little fugue, that day, unforgettable. So fckn beautiful and loud
say what you will about this show, but the opener and 5:58/6:50 in the ballad are just great

Hammer is dropped at 4:15
I think they picked it up for the SOLE PURPOSE to drop it again at 11:18.
I think the hammer was dropped at 0:46 but that’s just my opinion. Beautiful rendition of Bach’s “tiny” fugue. :-)
Quality audio during the singing portion

@@jspiker9914 lol I'm messing around dude, these videos make me very la happy
Dont worry, no offense taken lol
@Brady Lenz you would think that wouldn't you?
The cd version that has the semifinals track of the vocalists audio edited in is really good
When that synth kicks in during the closer, you definitely feel it! :)
Can you do crown 2019 🥺
I'll get right on it for ya
@@jspiker9914 thanks 🥰🥰
This is how to start a show!
i really hope they can't lose points for their speakers breaking up, that would totally stink if they lost points for the speaker audio
🥰🥰🥰😍😍🤩🤩🤩😚😚💖
