You can also call the main desk for a Tahitian Uber. They'll pick you up from your room and take you to various parts of the island like the restaurants, spa and stores.
My husband and I honeymooned at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui 19 years ago. It was called Bora Bora Nui back in the day. This video brought back good memories!
I forgot to say thank you to you 2 for posting this video. My wife and I had the best time and I surprised her with this trip (she did not find out that we were going till we were at LAX plus, a new wedding ring, and renewing our vows. Oh, Room 1001...yeah...it's wow nice and they treat you sooooo nice.. Again, Thank you guys for posting these great videos, you helped me build a memory that will last our entire life, plus we will be back in 2 years for round 2...
Thats so awesome! We are glad we could help you plan out a memorable trip! Hearing that our videos inspire others really means a lot to us, so thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing! I’ve been watching videos and researching a lot of different hotels on Bora Bora because I’m planning a week long trip there, but just couldn’t choose a hotel. The Conrad blows away all the other resorts on Bora Bora, even the Four Seasons location on the island.
I just published a review on it if you want to read! I also plan on publishing tips to save money at the conrad. Here's the link to the review: www.theawkwardtourist.com/conrad-bora-bora-nui/
Man they've upgraded a lot since we went in 2012! Makes me want to go back! We were in 323 and gorgeous sunsets every night! I've been binging your whole channel because covid putting a damper on travel for us now that we got kids and aren't as brave to venture around during a pandemic haha. Can't wait to get back out there! Thanks for the great content and very well done!!
Thanks so much for watching! We went right before the lockdown, so we were really happy to get the trip in before the closed borders. Hopefully you and the kiddos can get back out there soon!
They are both amazing in their own way. Moorea was great to explore and is alot more green and luscious. We rented a scooter and saw a lot that was really awesome. But Bora Bora is all about the ocean. We stayed at the resort the entire time and really enjoyed with snorkeling and swimming there more. I guess it depends on what kind of experience you are looking for
From our understanding yes, Bora bora is under french law, so it is illegal to discriminate against sexual orientation. As for culturally, It seemed quite tolerant. At the resort, I don't think you will have a problem from the staff. Happy travels! Let us know if you have other questions!
Be Sure to check out the rest of our Mo'orea /Bora Bora videos here!

The fact that you just bike where you wanna go is pretty cool!
The resort is on an outlying island but the grounds are pretty big so the bikes are pretty handy for getting around!

wow❤ nice
I was just there in February. Gotta go back again! The sunset views on the OWB with the pools are WORTH the extra money.
That's when we were there! We'll have to get one with a pool next time
@@TheAwkwardTourists Definitely Pool side with the sunset view. I was in room 333.

How many days did you stay? Did you eat at the resort all/most of the time? Food good?
We stayed for 4 nights. You kind of have to eat at the resort unless you want to pay for the boat to get back to Vaitape, which negates the savings
Hi....how much to stay here? Looks amazing.
it definitely varies by time of year and type of room! You can pay anywhere from a couple hundred USD a night to several thousand.
@@TheAwkwardTourists thankyou.
Which island did you enjoy more? Bora Bora or Moorea? We are looking to book for April.

god bless
any travel restrictions?
We went in February and there were none then, I'm not sure what it's like now though
Is the food all included ?
No it is not
No place should charge $30 for a drink....that's just gouging.
Are they accepting with gay people? I’m taking my husband there in a few years for his 60th birthday gift.

@@TheAwkwardTourists: Thank you for the speedy reply. I love your videos!
Aww 😢 it breaks my heart that you have to ask this question
@@manouchebruno1074 : Thank you for responding. If we drop $20,000 on this vacation we want to feel welcomed. Thanks again !
Zahlt man dort alles mit Chip oder wie wird es dort gehandhabt ?? Wäre ja lästig die Geldbörse immer mitzuführen.
Man lässt alles aufs Zimmer schreiben und zahlt am Ende
Looks perfect! Is that the King Overwater Villa or Deluxe Overwater villa. I’m looking to book for January. Thank you :)
I thing it was the Deluxe....
