Worker try to sell their 60 square Metters apartment for 20.000 us dollars but no one buy beause no job there .very interesting to watch .there are 65 millions empty apartment in 2022
It's fascinating how architecture can spark debate about aesthetics and functionality, but the cost of these buildings raises important questions about priorities and resource allocation. Are they truly worth the investment?
It's about moving money around to one account to another and yeah they doing something to show for it but its 10% or less of the money ''spent'' on it that why most of them are destroyed due to bad building materials they destroy them to hide the cheap parts use because would not last years.
When China ditches the CCP I will go to China to find my remnants of my Great grandfathers memories in Guandong. He fled during Mao's brutal reign...millions of people starved.😢
I am from India and most of the Indians think that china is bad but they don't know what is the reality. I don't like India Infrastructure and love china❤
Tbh I love these buildings, govt. and businessmen are actually looks more interested in aesthetic values and its better than corrupt politicians pocketing money. China loves to do experiments.
Maybe don't show an image of an American office building (the basket) in a video about ugly buildings in China. Also, shouldn't the building shown on the thumbnail be one of the buildings covered in the video?
Was this actually a top 8? To be honest, the first 2 are legit. The crab should've been done in a comical fashion like that one video game about giant crabs.
I've seen uglier in the U.S. unfortunately lol. Like the giant moldy contact lens case, Lucas's new Star Wars museum in LA, or the sad broken and crooked UFO on top of Soldier Field in Chicago. Traditional Chinese architecture is beautiful. So whats with the rats nest of logs, and the giant deodorant sticks? The crab is kinda cool admittedly, and the Samurai saucer servers as it were I like those. But that Buddha 0:25 looks about gummi bear quality. Surely they have better sculptors than that...... 🧐
I "consider these" beyond "ugly" and that they hold their own, incomparable place, and "think" that I don't subscribe to whatever other people's perception of "ugly" is anyway.....
A long time ago I wanted to visit China and see this beautiful country, that was a long time ago.

It's not ugly it's jealousy 😂
For me, the 3rd and 6th are interessant by the design and ideas, even not adapted for their use or local approval.
Damn CCP LOVE WASTING MONEY.. 😅
It's how they artificially inflate their precious GDP growth. That's the only thing they think matters
@@user-of7pj7sx4r they'll steal more

I know one thing for sure is chinese governments like to waste money on construction building
Ugly and not at all practical
