I have the tree runners. I think I have had them for about a year and I wear them almost everyday. They are still in great condition. Shoes are something I will buy new (especially sustainable ones from a Canadian company) because of the amount of use I get out of them.
Just was made aware of this company recently. Thanks for the review. I have learned that ANY kind of shoes will last longer if you do not wear them daily. Give them a day or two to air out. Just thought I mention it, so that you get the longest life out of whatever shoes you do have.
If you want to save on shoes and be good to the environment buy geox. You will reduce waste and save money because they are so durable. I have mine for the third year by now and they are still looking good. I wlk a loot, usually I have to buy a new shoe every year since I use them up. They are also waterproof.
Wow, I just found your video, and really appreciate your point of view, because I'm trying to be more sustainable with my shopping, and I found this amazing shoes but they are very expensive at least for me, and see your experience give me more to think, Thank you
Great intention but the features you get for the price point may be too much for most people imo. It looks like a good looking $45 shoe. I would expect $90 sneakers to have better outsole for better cushioning for longer walks.
New Zealand to Italy to Korea before they are shipped to consumer. Not sure they are as green as you think. Doesn’t really matter to me but not much different than other products which you probably are not considering as “green”.
given how ethical and sustainable freebirds is with their practices (use of material, ethical labor, carbon offset initiative, etc.) i think $95 is more than understandable, and honestly less than i would have guessed. i'd pay that for solely knowing that they are not profiting off underpaid children in undeveloped nations.
Agreed I have the one made from uh, nylon I guess.. it's indeed a generic one but stamped with adidas (yeah maybe also called knock off) been 3 years I kept wearing them and it still totally like new no deformed thing from outside just the only thing affected is that inside padding that is very thin (replaceable) and glue started to weaken (fixable too) and the total cost of it? $20 it's bought off local Facebook seller but AliExpress does sale the same thing so stop wasting money to buy this overhyped and overpriced stuff unless you're wealthy

Impressive dedication making a two year long video!
or maybe she just bought a new pair and this video was made in one afternoon
Thanks for letting us know how these shoes treated you for 2 years! I wish more companies would follow suit like all birds in how they manufacture

Which ones exactly?
Do you still use this pair today?
Allbirds are my favourite shoes! They are pricey but I have found them super worth it

I agree with u reg the price point. Birkenstocks can be repaired for $25-$40 with the similar wearing. But all birds don’t offer that I suppose.

I hope you are feeling well and are doing well!

$95.00 is too expensive for shoes that wear down so fast.

Korea doesn't have the best labor laws. They have sweatshops too.
