    Turbulence in the spark line at idle is normal on a GDI engine. This is due to the piston ramp, and fuel/air swirl in the chamber. On a PFI engine however, turbulence in the spark line at idle is indicative of a valve leak, whether due to carbon or other problems. Great video Pete.

    Hi Pete! As a fellow tech who's primary business over the past few years is engine mechanical and electrical diagnostics, due to a car accident leaving me partially and permanently disabled, your tutorials are great! Sometimes we can all benefit from a bit of a refresher to become more efficient at what we do. Im a little surprised at the low number of comments and likes. We are always learning, or at least should try to be learning something new every day, even after 30+ years in the trade I try to learn something new every day. Keep up the great content!

    Coil drivers have been an issue in Fords coil on plug, cold solder joins

    Hey Pete on your Autel tablet.. Is it able to graph 4 pids superimposed? Or or is like the older ones where only could do 3.
