U don't understand the atmosphere the man is coming from. He is not disputing d fact that hard work pays. He is talking Abt alignment in purpose in regard to individual destiny. More grace
Why do we always use the narrative "HARD WORK"" How about we say" normal work " Or "committed work " or " positive work" This Hard we attach to work makes is sound a bit negative when it should be a sweet positive action to engage.

I know so many places in the bible where people received great measures without even doing much. Eg, what was the occupation of Jacob before he took the birth right and blessings of essua. The guy was jobless,when Essau was renown hunter. Yet God bless him more that a good hustler. Evidence that" it's not by he that runs,but God that shows mercy. I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy.
God bless you sir, I am a strong believer but I believe there are laid down principles in the bible to help us lead the world in different disciplines not just having faith without works. Africans we really need to wake up and stop lazing around using our faith as an excuse.

This principle of knowing your place and being consistent or focused needs to be taught in all of today's churches. A lot of time, distraction is a lot in church. If your calling is the type that's not on stage, you'll mostly be portrayed a loser.
