The reason for the voltage rating is because bees and wasps are attracted to electricity. That rating means that you could spray it directly on the inside of your breaker box and it wouldn't cause a fire or short out the breakers
Eric no doubt He’s probably the most dangerous dude on RUclips and he’s so nonchalant about it, that it’s as if he doesn’t even know he’s ever in harms way.
Hey Tyler, I have been a pest controller for the past five years. That designation lets you know if you spray general purpose wiring in a house you don’t have to worry about an arc causing a fire. Love your videos!
Hey Tyler. I work at a manufacturing warehouse. And we use a chemical called MEK there. I've seen that stuff completely dissolve rubber. If you could get your hands on that stuff it'd be awesome to see what that stuff does to different objects
I love the jar videos, they’re by far my favourite, keep them coming!! I’d like to suggest leaving the SAME 5 objects in 5 DIFFERENT liquids and seeing the difference! Thanks Tyler for your entertainment, I watch you everyday!
I'm a cable guy, so I use wasp spray multiple times a day, and from my understanding, I think it's the oil in the spray that kills the wasps because it causes their wings to stick to their body, preventing them from moving. I've not actually researched it, so I could be way off... but what I DO KNOW is that if you're in a pinch and don't have wasp spray, WD-40 works just as good (which is also an oil). I'm sure liquid wrench, pb blaster, and any other penetrating oil would work just as good, too, though I've not experimented with them.
Nah permethrin is the primary killer in most wasp sprays. It's a nervous system toxin to insects. Edit: the vast majority of wasp spray by weight is oil and propane/butane, but it's just a vehicle for the the permethrin.
You should leave things in extremely strong chemicals. I know you've done drain cleaner and some acids but there are stronger ones you can buy. I'd look up some lists and see what ones are available. Also, you need a respirator or a decent mask when doing stuff like this so you don't get long term effects from them.
With most pesticides or any substances for that matter that are in aerosol form, it's the propellant that is much more toxic to breathe than the pesticide itself, because propellants are usually derived from hydrocarbons, so it's like inhaling gasoline fumes.
Leave things in different types of alcohol. Beer. Wine. Vodka. Rum .tequila whiskey. Gin. brandy. Moonshine. Cider. Either all at once or seperate videos using same ingredients!
You should make a vid where you test different mixtures of concrete with different liquids gas oil pickle juice just random liquids that would be a cool vid 🤷🏽♂️
Electrical breakdown or dielectric breakdown is a process that occurs when an electrical insulating material, subjected to a high enough voltage, suddenly becomes an electrical conductor and electric current flows through it. There you go basically means you can put it on Electric stuff and if it’s below that voltage it won’t trip a breaker or cause a fire 👍😁
The way he's describing it reminds me of something me and my best friends did when we were younger when we made stink bombs. The smell was so bad and the contents of that jar were so evil, I'm sure it was toxic. We threw it into an abandoned yard and one week later there was a dead raccoon by it.
I think we lived the same child hood. Me and an old friend had a wheelie bin full of trash and smelly stuff we used to call a 'potion' that we would stir it all up with a stick.
The Dielectric voltage breakdown number is for your safety, For example, if you were to spray it close to Mains Electricity, it would be safe, BUT... If the nest was close to some High Voltage power lines in excess of 47kv the spray would become electrically conductive- ie the dielectric breakdown (insulation barrier threshold) would stop being an insulated spray, and would conduct electricity directly through the spray, through the container, your arm, heart and straight to ground... the result- one dead spray can operative!!
