Well I had a near death experience or tragic if I say so myself. I’m going to shorten this story down. I used to do foundation repair and that includes repair floors in ppls house as well. We used these things called bottle jacks to life up steel I-beams that require 5 to 6 men to carry. These I-Beams are hoisted up in the air underneath the floor joist to support the floor. We use the bottle jack to jack them up. I was walking out the house and heard a crash right behind me and the bottle jack rolled right to my heel. The supported bottle jack fell from 10ft in the air right at the doorway where I just walked out of. This was the 20 ton bottle jack, the biggest one and they are not light. If I would’ve hesitated even a little bit or decided to turn back around for something, that bottlejack would’ve landed right on my head and it would’ve done major damage.

I have a short story that's really lucky. My dad said it was even the devil's own luck, so here goes;
I was in the 8th grade and I was really good friends with this guy named Carlos. We would always climb the wooden fence that got pretty close to one of the outer walls of my house so we could get up on the roof and chill there, the fence itself was about 8 feet tall.
I'd usually bring drinks for us, so we both had cokes. I insist that I can climb up with only one of my hands and my clumsy balance to support myself, which in hindsight was a really stupid decision. You can see where this is going.
I lose my balance with my phone in my shirt pocket and my almost full soda in my hand, fall flat on my back from the 8 foot drop, *somehow* don't hit my head on the pavement, and naturally nothing was spilled, nor did my phone so much as shift in my shirt pocket.
It was crazy and I was just as shocked as Carlos and my dad were, my dad said that's up there with the scariest moments of his life and I can understand why. If I had hit my head or landed on my neck, I would have either suffered life changing injuries or died. I was lucky to walk away without a scratch to begin with.
I'm not a Christian man so I'm not gonna say I'll thank god for that luck, but I'm sure as hell thankful to *something,* because absolutely none of that situation was in my hands.

If you are from America, and you consider yourself an American, then you call it Soccer. Don’t give in to what other countries call it. Main reason why is because when they come to our country, they will call it futbol and not respect the way we say it. So we don’t have to respect them by what they call the sport. Give respect to get respect. The day I meet a foreigner who calls the sport Soccer is the day I will call it futbol if I visit him in his country. Have some pride in being an American just like they are proud to be from their country
