Closed my monthly account with 112K on August 30. I have 5% monthly target on 20L capital I was travelling on the weekend. Got greedy and thought of getting the 2-3 K of fuel expenses on the last day. Sold 3 lots of 24500 CE for 90 at 10:30 AM and left the desk. On the way, at 1:30 I saw the option trading at 210. I chose to wait. At 3:20 it was 350. Monday morning I closed two lots at 650. The last lot expired worth less. This had happened thrice in the past. On expiry the price would close below the strike. In fact sold 10 lots of the same 24500 CE on wednes day. Overall made 30K in the week after adjustment of 29K loss in just two lots. This is the story of option writes. eat like mice but shit like elephant. Tradational stop loss theories are not working, as operators have gone smart.

I made money upto 5.35L from BANKNIFTY index within 2 months , I got attracted towards options trade, I lost 5.10L within 5 trading sessions of August 1st week as it was range bound market and main point was of premium decay....... Outline knowledge is the most dangerous one.....
I am a Full-time Option Seller, I have to say it's not as dangerous as he mentions in this video. if anyone wants to be a full-time option seller my simple advice would be. 1) Don't go all In. Have adequate capital for adjustments always. 2)Trade only in an index like Nifty and bank nifty 3)Always have hedged position 4)And while choosing your position don't choose the strike price which has the highest OI, Always choose w.r to Delta. Choose strike price which has a delta of around 0.12-0.17 5)And Make adjustments when your positions delta reaches 0.30-0.35 6)Never do intraday in Option selling. Expiry day option selling is fine. But in order days don't do it. Your profit mainly comes from overnight theta decay.it would be pointless to do intraday option selling. and my last but not least advice would be Before getting into options have adequate knowledge about option greeks.
Im in this field for 7yrs..Self taught myself..and to be profitable and for learning curve it took me around 3 yrs..After that i was consistently profitable.

What about option buyers...I always lose whether its expiry ir not I have take put option and BN was going down in same direction where I expected but option premium was not moving at all and BN goes sideways imediate within 2 min my 30 point SL got hit.. What was that still unknown to me

I believe Hedged always works, but limit the profit. That's ok if you're earning 1-2% on your capital in 2 days during expiry.
I just trade intraday on expiry by selling option of that strike price which probability is very less ... i prefer selling 5-10 permium strike price

Well said . Huge margin for short profit . It's better to buy options based on technical analysis . At least loss is limited just like stop loss

Guys it's simple don't worry, be cautious and trade safe with Stop-loss. Risk is everywhere, even in simply crossing a common road, so will you stop crossing it? An airplane is safe on the airport, so should it not be flying?

Plz don't discourage retailers from option selling... I know it's hurting big players nowadays... Nd i guess ppl who sell options very well know how option works... And if u still think it's risky then everything else is also risky in market, let it be stocks, futures, options buying also.

He never told that in option selling too you can put SL on your position.
Option selling is the only simple and safe way of trading.
SL does not work over night.
@@ParminderSingh-ft3cc hedge your position for positional trading, but still risk is there but if you are not comfortable don't take overnight position. SL used usually for intraday bro.

If you would have explained how the risk in option selling is more than future position, it would have been great.Bcoz option selling expected value is much more that future ot stock investment.
यह वीडियो सिर्फ Option Buyer को डराने के लिए है कहीं कल को OB, OS ना बन जाए। जो option seller मोटा मुनाफा कमाते है वो Option Buyer का ही SL खाकर इतना प्रॉफिट करते है। इन लोगों का काम है कि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोग OB बने रहे ताकि 10% Option Seller, 90% Option Buyer को खाते रहे।
